Chapter 16: The new Khal.

[294 AC]

[Two weeks later]

[David pov]

I couldn't wait for the two months of rest. So the first chance I got away from Tyrion, I sneaked and went with the scouts, that were more than happy to have me.

In our first trips, we didn't get too far in their territory. We checked the terrains. The tribes that were close to our camp were small and didn't pose much of a threat.

Maybe we could start taking some of the smaller ones into our ranks to start our Khalasar. We needed to learn the culture, the way of talking, and how they fight. So I had to take Missandei with us next time to help us communicate. Even though I could already speak a little bit, I couldn't talk fluently yet. Maybe I should have given more time to my studies, as at the start of my journey, But it just slipped my mind till now.

My group of five scouts turned to our true selves and started returning to camp. Today we already found another group that was getting closer to Lhazar. And now it was the time for some rest.

As soon as we arrived at the camp, there could be seen young pups running from side to side. Lycans training in combat, going one on one or even in group battles. In the tents, there could be seen a variety of activities, like organizing each tent's resources, skinning the hunts of the day, and taking the meat for processing. Classes for reading and writing, for those that want them.

It's an amazing thing how far we have gone. From seven lonely Lycans searching for a place to go. To almost four thousand strong and growing. It was like a dream coming true.

[One month later]

It is almost time to go out of Lhazar. All the pups can already go on simple hunts, and being born as one of us, they have the same drive as I do. So, all of them are training to be great warriors, searching for their path Like a true Lycan should. And like all the ones I Turned first are starting to search for how they want to live their new life. The drive will appear eventually.

And today is the day we will start assimilating the Dothraki. I took this month to finish learning to speak fluently. And with Missandei as a teacher, it all went quite fast. And we had our target, a group of about 500 Dothraki warriors, not counting the young, the women, and the old. It would be an easy battle, I will take about the same amount of warriors having one on one battles. It will be our first Khalasar assimilated.

To be able to reduce their casualties. And to be able to recruit as many of them as we could. Including the ones that are not fighters. So we started to prepare, our warriors took their armor off. First putting painted leather vests, like the ones we have seen different Dothraki warriors wear into battle. Also, putting on Sandsilk trousers and leather boots to finish the look. To mix with them and be able to make them part of our group thanks to their culture.

And being able to test my new strength was something I was looking forward to fighting the leader.

To see the real strength of the Dothraki warriors. I was going to fight in my human form. While my betas would turn into their true self, and kill their horses and incapacitating the rider. Leaving the leader to me to deal with. Or at least that was the plan. For this battle, I would bring Hodor, Gendry, and Tommen, as my Bloodriders, to keep up with the customs. Also, they being the ones with the higher combat strength, thanks to entering the pack at an earlier date than the rest.

Their task was to kill the other Khalasar Bloodriders. As to stop any future troubles, Also, having in mind to find the khalakka. Who we already had identified beforehand, to avoid any future trouble.

And with all this in mind, we made our way to the Dothraki sea.

[General View]

In a large plain, about 1000 Dothraki resting in a temporary camp. Some were sharpening their Arakh, some eating what seemed like horse flesh, And others, mating like they were animals in heat.

When suddenly the peace was interrupted. Hundreds of howls were heard from all directions in the camp. And from the location of Lhazar came four horses who were ridden by traditionally dressed Dothraki, one being extremely tall and sturdy.

All the warriors came in front of them, five hundred strong, in just five minutes, all in a horse. But before they could do anything. A wave of giant Direwolves came from every direction attacking everyone except the Khal and his bloodriders.

Horses falling could be heard all around them. Dothraki warriors, falling unconscious every minute with a lot of wounds. Some even death from severe bleeding. The Kahl, who had a small braid, meaning he has lost a battle recently, meaning he was weak. Just turned to the unidentified assailants and started shouting in rough language.

"What are you waiting for come, is your time of death," He said, waiting for a good battle.

And without saying anything, he just stood up on his horse. Jumped and kicked the Khal with moderate strength off the horse. And without waiting for him to counterattack, gave a strong punch to the horse of the Kahl. Making him fall unconscious and showing no signs of getting up anytime soon.

When the Kahl got up, he took his Arakh and rushed toward David. At the same time that this was happening, The Kahl Bloodriders were being demolished. One of them got their skull obliterated by a war hammer. Another was cut in two by a giant's Battleax. And the last one, when it falls to the ground, had all his major organs spilled out from his abdomen. Thanks to a sword-cut from the neck to the pelvis.

And the last battle was also ending. After about five minutes there were about twenty claw marks on the Kahl's body, while David didn't even have a scratch on his leather vest. So it was obvious who had the advantage. And without waiting anymore. The sound of ripping was heard on all the battlefield. And the Kahl left out his last breath.

The battle was over, and the pack won.

[Tyrion POV]

What a pain, How can I convince these savages to let go of their beliefs and truly join the pack. Good thing I learned their language, if not, that would be awful. First comes the easy part, Taking the children and the khalakka, Turning them, and Teaching them the true way of life. In taking the children, the mothers follow without any questions.

And After about half a day, David had turned them all and started to incorporate them into the pack. So now came the Challenge, the old ones and the warrior of the Khalasar. Those stubborn guys with the firm belief in the horse god. They indeed follow strength, but it will take some time to convince them on joining.

But when the first batch of them join the rest we assimilated will follow without a hitch. And as our customs were not so different, their period to adapt wouldn't be so large. But these savages were too much for us to handle properly. So an idea came to mind, one that would take our schedule to be behind, so First, it was time to talk to David.

"What can I do for you Tyrion, Having trouble with the Dothraki," He asked, already expecting my visit.

"Well, yes. Their customs are too deep-rooted, and for them to truly enter the pack as one of us, and not just savages who will do whatever they want. We will need to take only the women and children, killing all the rest. Reforming the Dothraki to our will," I explained, waiting for his reaction.

"I never thought of it that way, and it will change our plans drastically. But I can see it benefiting us in the future. So you have the go-ahead, just keep me posted on how this batch goes and if it is viable for the rest," He finished, showing great trust in my plans.

"I will David, So can I rethink our plans in the Dothraki sea?" I asked, a little hesitant.

"Yeah sure, just be careful that in whatever we do, the pack is not negatively affected, have the Unsullied finish the dirty work. And have Hodor be the one to teach the new betas. He seems to be taking great pleasure in doing it," He finished, already started planning his ways of doing things.

I bid farewell to him and went on to find Hodor and take him to the Betas, that were coming out of the change. And then found some Unsullied having a break. Told them we needed to take care of some savages, it didn't take more to convince them to help me.

It wasn't pretty but had to be done for the better of the pack. It was now the time to change everything we had planned for the next five years.

[Two weeks later]

[David POV]

We finally left Lhazar and entered the Dothraki sea with my full pack, well maybe for a time, I should say my Khalasar.

All of the members were now dressed as locals here. So blending as a normal one them was not going to be much of a problem. Excluding the fact that we didn't have horses, and were 90 percent of the time a pack of giant Wolves that hunt everything that goes ton their way.

We will see how it goes, But one thing was certain. The pack will continue to flourish.

Hope you enyoy it, been a little hesitant on how I should handle the Dothraki, so tell me what you think of the chapter, and how the story is progressing.

Let me know who would you like to be part of the pack. Also, I am starting to think of probable pairings. So I will be looking out for those suggestions too.

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
