3 The capital city of westeros

Okay... Last night's experience was another level, Because I just fucking killed actual humans... And didn't feel any backlash?. And it's feels just like any normal day.... How the hell is that possible?

Well anyway, on to the bandits..... Somehow I captured their leader or just say that he surrendered. The man is called Ulmar, One of the last remains of what is called Kingswood brotherhood.

He told me to spare his life and requested that he will take the black if I let him go.

Naah... that's not happening, This guy could have a large amount of bounty on his head and I'm going to get a hold of it.

So I let my travel companion Rolf... Do the job of looting the corpse and told him just gather the weapons, not the clothes. After that I just cut the heads from the corpses and burned the bodies.

Then we emptied one of the barrels and put the heads in it.

Hm... Now that I think about it, it was a good idea to sleep in my armor.

is it just my thoughts ? But it feels wired because somehow all these killings did not affect me at all, why? And when I killed them it didn't felt strange, like it was just a normal thing that I experienced many times.

Well, if I think about it ....! My body reaction was fast, like truly fast....

And I can feel this 6.4 ft body has tons of muscle memory and skills with the sword. And a lot of stamina to move around with heavy armor.

That's a good thing then right? At least I have the survival skills to counter the danger's of this world.

Though I need to test some of my limits, I'll do that after I find a place to sleep and rest.

So after finishing everything here, We resumed our travel to the capital.

The travel is very fast this time, Because of good road. And by noon we arrived at the capital.

But damn.... This city does look great from afar....

Though I know from the show that this of Kingslanding the greatest and worst city in Westeros.

And why is that? Because it's the center of all political games. And a lot of poverty.

After arriving into this world now I can tell that this is real deal and I'm truly in a fantasy world and also not dreaming.

We arrived at the south gate, And I observed there is lots of traffic going on here, So I thought we had to wait in line for long. But my trader friend here has a connection, with the city watch or goldclokes?

I can see that I'm getting lots of attention from the folks that are waiting in the line. Then from the line's of people, Someone just recognized our prisoner, Ulmar was It?

And started shouting, Oh now I see... he is the outlaw on the poster.

As time goes by the shouting is getting pretty louder every moment and then it started getting crowded around us as well.

We need escape the situation before it's get out of hand.

Then out of nowhere, two goldcloaks came to us and we're given a special pass and escorted to the captain of nearby barracks in cobbler square.

In the barracks, I get to meet with a captain named Janos slynt. Whom is not bald yet but a young man of my age. Haha.. that face of his... what do you know! He talks and acts like ass leaker. He inspected our prisoner and the heads I brought.

After confirming the prisoner, He ordered the goldcloaks to take the prisoner away. And told me and Rolf to wait in guest room until the commender arrives.

So we waited, and after 30 minutes later commander of the city watch Known as Manly Stokeworth arrived.( AN: I'm not making this name's you check out the wiki) After staring at me for a minute or so he took his seat and told me a seat as well.

(POV Manly Stokeworth)

I was enjoying a glass of arbor Gold at my office.

Then a sudden News arrived and I learned that a bandit leader is captured their group is killed.... I got good relief.

There are some minor reports about them, when was it ? Two moons ago maybe we did put a bounty on them Right ?. It's good news because the king's demands are getting more... restless....

And he wants all traitors burned, At least now he'll have another one of his burning rituals.

Well, as disturbing it is sounds, I can't disobey orders. But I also duty to fill other than king's demands... The crime in the city is getting more rampant. The City watch lacking Men's... We need more Men !!! competent... Men.

And Lord Tywin Lannister is a hard man to please . But he does understand we need more fund and he's redcloaks are quite a welcome hand. But I know he does it for political reason and a good grip on the city.

Oh.... I need to inspect the prisoner. And give the reward to the capturer. I looked at my assistant.

"Well Tom, let us meet the man who can kill a group of bandit by himself". Tom gave me a silent nod. We both arrived there in half an hour later.

Captain slynt welcomed me in south barracks. Then Inside captain slynts office, I spotted a well-armored man.... It doesn't take long to judge someone's Martial prowess.

He is tall as the Lord commender Gerold Hightower or Lord Bratheons . hmmm.... his sigil looks a lot alike house mallister from the Riverland. But not a purple one instead a white eagle on the blue field, Maybe his from that house ? the Mallisters are known for being tall.

"I am Manly Stokeworth lord commender of Citywatch and you ser done a great service to the crown so where are you heil from?"

"I'm Ser Alan Winters my lord, I'm from essos but rest assured I'm well aware of knightly custom's."he replied.

Hmm, winter's ? Never heard any house has that name, He came from essos he says. why?

"And why do you came to Westeros Ser Winters?"

"yes my Lord, As you can see I came from a merchant family and my family is quite wealthy. So I and my companion come to Westeros for a grand adventure."

The foreign knight took a breath,"I heard lots of stories about the sunset kingdom's my Lord. And the wonder's that great man's built in this continent. But all is lost from Strom that caught our ship and I'm the sole survivor."

oh.... so he a spoiled merchant prince... Maybe he's family run a trading company from one the free city's. So he got his Education from some exile knight. And heard a lot stories from he's teacher? though I can guess that experience he acquired after coming to these land did not match the story about seven kingdoms he learned.

"Well, tragedies happens lad... But your in luck , Because you have solved your financial problem. Now here's your reward for the service that you provided." Tom gave me a bag full of coins.

"Here is the promised 20 gold dragon... But we're also keeping the weapons from the outlaws."I hand him the money pouch. After taking the coins he gave me respectful salute.

"I'm thankful for the reward my Lord ." he took the coin pouch.

"No need to thank me, lad, you earned it. But I would have asked you if have any interest in serving under me ? But I know you would decline because of your adventurous nature. So enjoy your stay in the city, And take this paper with you. It has my sign on it, And pice of advice don't spend too much money on whores."

" oh... yes ofcourse my lord. I thank you again for your consideration and advice this would be most helpful". he was a little surprised at first but looked grateful after giving a short bow he left.

Then I looked at my subordinate.

"Tom call captain slynt and tell him to hung those head at the southern gate I'm leaving."

I need to report this to counsel and though I like to present the foreign knight as well, But the lad might be strangled in politics.

And refusing a lord offer could backfire on him, Most of all Tywin Lannister and king himself.

Damn politics.... I am knight I'm good sword not with paper works.....!!!

And breaking dispute of trader and smallfolk and bribery. Life can't get any worse ?

Then tackling the corruptions in the ranks of the Goldcloaks. few days ago I have received some reports about Janos taking bribes from everyone from lords to whores . And Gods knows how he hides them.
