4 Chapter 4-Landing-

A youth slowly opened his eyes and felt a little muddle headed.After waiting for a while for the feeling to subside,he sat up to examine his surroundings and was flabbergasted.

There was nothing in sight except for a few shrubs growing here and there and rocks randomly scattered around.It was a barren land.

Sitting there he felt a slight chill and hurriedly got up.He felt staying here was not safe so choosing a random direction he got moving quickly.

Fortunately it was day time otherwise he didn't even dare imagine the situation he would be in.

Walking for a while his stomach started protesting andlooking around there were not even trees much less an animal.He immediately became depressed but suddenly hearing a sound nearby he became vigilant and turning to take look his eyes lit up.

A few feet infront of him in the nearby shrub there were movements and focusing a little he could make out a small outline.It was a hare.

But he couldn't help remember that he doesn't know how to hunt and started clauging the wheels in mind and the only viable solution was to take it by surprise.

After making out the head he circled around it and waiting for the moment it lowered its head to chew he immeaditly pounced on it and grabbig it by the neck he applied force and broke it.

Ding!

"Killed a hare,gained 10 experince."

"Gained new player giftpack".

Hearing the voice he was slightly startled and thought it sounded familiar.He remembered listening the same voice before coming here.

Due to sudden contrast he didn't recalled clearly but now thinking about it,seems like this is the culprit for his disappearance.

Thinking about gift pack a silver screen floated in front of him with a gift icon.He commanded for it to open and as expected it worked and..

"Congratulations for obtaining a Illusion seal".

"Congratulations for obtaining a combat knife".

"Congratulations for obtaining a lighter".

"Please check backpack for items".

Jay became a little excited hearing this and immeaditly called backpack in his mind.

Six boxes with three empty ones appeared on the screen .The items were there.

Maybe it is timely assistance.Afterall it will be a chore to make a fire here.Looking at the environment it will get cold in the night,so the items came at the right time.

Looking at the hare,suddenly there was dialogue box,

"Hare x1"

[Collect]

[Yes][No]

"Yes",Jay said.Suddenly it turned into little light spots and disappeared making Jay startled.Taking a look at the item window again,there was an extra item in one of the compartments.Clicking on it,another small pop up appeared.

[Withdraw]

[Yes][No]

Choosing 'No',Jay exited the screen.He has basically understood the functions of the backpack.It's used to store and take out items.Quite convenient to say the least.

Now taking a good look it doesn't seem that staying in place will be a good idea.Now taking advantage of the daytime it is good to find a cover otherwise once the night arrives it will be dangerous to stay in the open.Even if it doesn't end up becoming an animals food it will become a popsicle.

Choosing a direction,he started walking forward.The temperature is a bit low but it's manageable for now but it will be a big trouble in the night.It will be good to find a shelter as quickly as possible.

After walking a distance,Jay came to a halt.Infront of him was a big rock with a room like gap with only an opening at the front.

"It should do",said Jay,shivering a little.He quickly walked towards the gap as the temperature has already dropped a few degrees.

Entering the place,the ceiling was two metres high from the ground and the width of the whole space was around eight feet.After examinig the place ,Jay felt it was a nice place to take shelter.

He clicked on the combat knife and suddenly his hand became a little heavy.Taking a look a knife with an eight inch blade with a black handle appeared in his hands.

Taking the knife he cut some branches from the shrubs and put them together in a pile.The remaining ones were used to make a simple spit to roast the hare.

Skewering the hare,Jay took out the lighter and lit the fire.Since there are no other ingredients he has to make do with this but not that he can complain.Catching something to eat is already a blessing.

After a while of roasting,the meat was ready.Bringing the knife,Jay cut a small piece and put it in his mouth.The taste was alright,edible atleast.

The sun has already set by the time he was halfway through his meal.After sometimes night came and with it something that confirmed Jayś guess.A big moon,way bigger than anything he has ever seen and the most striking part was the rings circling around it like the rings of Saturn.He was a bit emotional seeing this.When he arrived he had already thought that this isn't any part of the world or a different timeline but a different world altogether.

After finishing eating he lay on his make shift bed made of bushes which he collected alongside the branches.Its insulation was enough to keep the cold from the ground away.

Facing the opening,looking at the stars,he feels like he is watching the the sky from home but he knows he is very far from earth,his home and his family.

Closing his eyes,the picture of his family appeared in his mind.His caring mother,his father who doesn't talk much but can take bear the pressure of the whole world for his family and his cute and smiling sister who keeps teasing him.

The pictures kept flashing and a tear from the corner of the eyes unknowingly rolled down.

"Mom,Dad,Amber,I miss you guys",Jay whispered,wiping the tears and smiling a little to himself.

After tossing and turning for a while he fell asleep.

The fire kept burning keeping the nearby roaming animals and cold at bay.

The shouting and howls kept coming from a distance.
