His thoughts were mixed up as the announcement seemed familiar. But what did it mean by welcome like it's just starting? He tried looking around but all he could see was black space and only a light shining in the distance. 

Just when he thought things didn't make sense, a flood of memories belonging to his future self came back to him. His head didn't hurt as much as he thought it would as all the memories came back to him in a flash in what seemed like an eternity turned out to be seemingly just a few seconds.

As he thought the future memories were weird he kept hearing the system sound again. It felt like he was hearing these sounds for the first time but also felt extremely familiar due to the rush of memories.

He thought about it and subconsciously said the game name that he remembered from the memories.

"Leon Dragneel"

Before he could process what was happening,

He gets stunned and starts focusing on the words that appear before him. These familiar words were where he took one of the worst decisions in life that cost him so much.

Normally looking at the system message and the suggestion to skip, most people will skip the tutorial to take part in the game earlier to get a headstart than others. Here's where the game laid out its first major trap to weed out people who can't even have the patience to receive knowledge about the unknown.

He starts clearing up his head, as he realizes that he has received memories of his future self. From the start of the year 2100, the game changed his life and everything that is known to him. 

He organizes his thoughts Galaxy Wars Online is a Virtual Reality Open World Expansive Game that is designed and managed through the leading AI Gaia. It was released on January 1st Year 2100. He remembers that today was the launch of the game and he just logged into the VR system.

Just when he was gaining more clarity about his sudden influx of memories and reality he saw the request to play the tutorial in front of his eyes. He cursed the game developers as he knew about this pitfall for which he fell for the last/first time. But not again if this is reality then he won't make the same mistake again as this time he was not going to fall for the trick as he sneered and selected [YES].

A bright flash goes by as he is pulled in towards the only light source in the black space at astonishing speed. As he slowly opened his eyes to look at his surroundings, he was inside a forest surrounded by trees on all sides. He looked around him to check for any potential dangers such as wild animals or poisonous plants and such.

After taking a good look and confirming that there is no immediate threat to his life, Noel ponders on what to do next this was a new experience for him as he didn't play the tutorial on his last life as he only heard some stories from others or in the forums.

[Tutorial Quest: Survive for 7 Days]

That's it, nothing else. He remembers people cursing at the system about the tutorial and its lack of information and how the tutorial didn't teach them anything. But that was not true, the tutorial was designed to give players the simulation of wilderness survival and see how they react in such a situation. The players have to learn how to survive and adapt for 7 days while those who skipped can start the game with a head start of 7 days. And as the time difference between the real world and the VR was 1:3. 3 Days in-game was a day outside.

But a head start might seem like a big deal as they were informed that they have to stay in the game for 7 days to wait for the tutorial to end. They were delighted now and thought about how 7 days were going to grant them a massive lead in the game.

Organizing his thoughts and memories, he remembers his name in the future is still Noel Dragneel. And that the memories he received were his own and not someone else. At the thought that the memories might change him and his personality, a tinge of fear gripped his heart. Still, he resolved himself and thought the memories were just tools or knowledge to help him and wouldn't replace him.

[Time Remaining: 6 Days 23 Hours 40 Minutes]

Glancing at the time remaining in the corner of his eyes which was displaying the amount of time left for him to finish the quest he steeled up his nerves and looked around carefully to find something that might be useful for his survival, He noticed lots of foliage and trees and observes about his surroundings as he starts walking towards a unique-looking tree. The tree was just about 3 meters high with drooping vines at the end where purple fruits were hanging about. The game world was modified to look like the Earth with some unique mystical elements while also being expanded 10 times the size of the Earth.

When he reached the spot he noticed the tree vines full of fist-sized purple fruits. Instead of getting excited to find a food source he stops and carefully looks at the tree and its surrounding again as he circles it once to check on it.

He sighs as he walks away from the tree because as this is a forest that is supposed to be filled with wild animals there should be a few half-bitten fruits or only a small amount of fruits on the tree. But none of the fruits were touched and there were too many fruits on this tree. And that could only mean one thing.

Remembering from his memories he knew that the environment was different from Earth and not everything was as normal as it seemed. It could be a poisonous fruit or a carnivorous plant. From his experience, you can only know if the fruit is edible when other wildlife consumes it or when players get a corresponding identification skill.

He remembers being poisoned once and was barely alive even after a year of experience in the game. You can only live once in this game. And if you die you will have to restart from scratch. Noel was determined to not waste this second chance and secure his future with his knowledge of the game.
