Fu Yan looked at the phone screen and saw the name of his roommate from university. He remembered that he had not called them for a long time and even when he visited the university, He did not meet them.

He picked up the phone and the roaring voice of Shen Bai came from the speakers.

"Fu Yan!!! You have a lot of courage now that you don't even come to university and when you come, you don't even visit us. You boy is grown up now! Huh."

Fu Yan smiled and said in a laughing tone.

"Old Bai. I was busy in some work and could not come to classes. I have already talked with the dean and he had allowed me to skip classes. As for not visiting you, I was in a hurry so I forgot about you guys."

Shen Bai again roared and said.

"Yes Yes. You boy now have money and you don't need to care about us. It's true that money changes your personality and makes you forget about your poor friend. Just so you know, you might forget us but we won't ever forget you. We will miss you every time when we go out to eat." Shen Bai said the last sentence in a weeping tone.

Fu Yan laughed hard and said.

Shen Bai also laughed and asked him why he was not coming to university and whether he had any problems and needed their help.

Fu Yan told him that he busy with work and might not come to university anytime soon.

Even our programming teacher asked about you in the class and when he heard that you were not present, he acted like he was in despair. Tell me what exactly did you do."

"What did I do? Huh." Fu Yan was lost in thought.

He started to have a flashback of when he went to meet the Dean.

"Let's start your test." dean Zhou said and called for the HOD of the CS department.

HOD of CS department was a friend of Dean Zhou and he was also a renowned figure in the university.

He came and after Dean Zhou explained the situation to him, he looked towards Fu Yan with a meaningful look and said.

"Confidence is a good thing but too much confidence can be harmful. Young man are you sure you are ready for the test. You might want to prepare for it for some days and come back. This would improve your chance."

Fu Yan shook his head and said.

"Thank you for your consideration but I think I am ready, also I don't have time to waste as I am already very busy with my work."

HOD Li's face hardened after hearing this.

He looked at Dean Zhou and the latter nodded. This was a sign that he was allowed to do anything he wants and ask any question that he can think of.

Soon the test started and both Dean Zhou and HOD Li started to ask questions to Fu Yan.

At first, they wanted to make it difficult for Fu Yan but as time passed, they started to become amazed at this young man's knowledge.

They both took turns asking him questions but Fu Yan would answer as soon as the question was asked.

Sometimes his answers contain an explanation that even they had not learned about yet. They became more and more amazed as time passed.

They even had to take a break in between, not because they were tired, but because they could not think of any other questions that they could ask Fu Yan.

After half an hour of questioning, they excused themselves and went out to talk. Fu Yan was told to sit there and that they will be back shortly. They both went out in a hurry and after 10 minutes they came back with 4 other teachers.

The session resumed.

The 4 new teachers that came back, each was an expert in their field and they also started to ask him questions regarding their field.

Fu Yan could not help but notice that all these teachers were trying their best to fail him.

"What is going on here. Why are they so admitted on failing me." He thought.

What he did not know was that both Dean and HOD were so amazed by his knowledge and his intelligence that they wanted to keep him in university and not let him go. They talked with other teachers and formulated a plan that they would ask him questions outside of his field and when he was unable to answer them, they would convince him saying that he had much to learn and should not leave the university.

But contrary to their expectations, Fu Yan answered each of their questions easily and they could not think of any other way to make him stay in university.

One teacher even asked him a question that he was presented when he was doing his Ph.D. on AI and he could not solve it then but to his surprise, Fu Yan solved that question easily and even told him how he could optimize that step.

That teacher upon hearing the answer could not sit and run out of the Dean's office in excitement. He wanted to experiment and see if this process is applicable.

Fu Yan asked if there were any other tests but all teachers were silent.

"Then I hope that I would be allowed to sit in the final exams. Well then take care."

He went back after saying that.

He came back from his musings when Shen Bai's loud voice came from the speakers.
