20 Chapter 19

Tom looked at the silent Daredevil who was breathing heavily as he looked at his bruises,readying himself for battle,Tom had nothing but respect for the guys tenacity

'Hopefully I have also gained everything from Eijiro Kirishima,including his enhanced endurance and durability,which reminds me that this may be the best time for me to train that quirk I got '

Tom made a sharp turn as they were getting closer to the hideout

"Alright! We will have to stop here and go in on foot,the factory should be right up ahead,can I trust you not to die" Tom asked as he looked at the wobbly figure of Daredevil,unlike in the series,Tom hadn't done a very good job stitching up the man's body

"Don't worry about me,I will distract them while you find the kid and leave" Tom raised an eyebrow at that

"The security will be tighter around the kid so it's better for you to go ahead of me" Daredevil replied,making himself clear

Though Tom had another thought in mind,he had learned one thing being in Hell's Kitchen,and that was,the thugs here are really stupid as they run into danger rather then away From it like normal people are supposed to do

Tom didn't say anything as they both used the cover of the night to silently approach the factory as they took care of the guards,Tom was also able to handle them using the hardening quirk that was just very weak at the moment,but was still enough to work against normal people,he avoided the use of his spells as they will attract attention,and Tom was waiting for that exact moment

Once they arrived at the door,Daredevil took a deep breath as he wanted to barge in and cause mayhem but was easily swung aside by Tom who opened the doors using his hardened quirk and barged in like a raging bull,his face looking like a cracked stone sculpture causing the thugs to be frightened,though that didn't stay for long as he started casting his eye catching spells while those that weren't effected started firing and throwing stuff at him

But Tom was undefeated as he faced every opponent with ease,with as much ease as he could,as his stamina wasn't infinite

"hurry and go in while I hold these guys back,take the kid and run as I have a way of saving myself" Tom yelled at Daredevul who only stopped for a moment before he slipped in under the chaos,a few of the thugs managed to catch him but Tom solved it easily with some body binding curse spells to their faces

"I am gonna have a field day today! Let's see how much all of you are worth"

"Don't underestimate us you freaks!" One of the Russian thugs yelled as he suddenly pulled out a machine gun and started firing at Tom who immediately used the passive power of his boots of Hermes and started running around the area with ease,he didn't dare to try and fly as he knew he needed some practice to do so

As he waited for the Russian man to run out of ammo,Daredevil had finally reached the second floor and knocked down two weak guards and picked up the child after promising to help her save her dead who might as well be dead by now

"Fortunately I found him,other wise I wouldn't have…" Matt muttered as he saw a swarm of red burning figures in the ground floor,though what they were going against had a much bigger glow,albeit it was slowly going out bit by bit

Daredevil hesitated for a bit,but the slowly breathing small life in his hands stopped him from making a big mistake as he slowly retreated from the factory'a back exit after easily taking down a few more thugs

"you better be safe ,idiot" Matt muttered as he promised to treat the man with a drink if they meet again

While Daredevil made his escape,Tom was also nearly done with the goons as he slowly painted,his arms and body was bloodied due to the amount of beatings it had taken,although the Protego spell was powerful and could even stop bullets if trained properly and maybe even take on stronger forces one day,Tom had only used it so much for a month and wasn't ready for a line up of such infested street thugs

They came at him in waves as they tried to break through his barrier through all means,often managing to get some hits in onc in a while

Though it persisted long enough for him to win the battle as he also retreated with his back against the wall as he didn't want to be surprised by some of the goons that might only be acting

"although the effect of the paralysis will wear off in a few hours,the broken bones won't be mended so think twice before you come mess with us" Tom warned one last time as he finally ran for his life with all his might

He was excited as well as a bit tired as he could feel his body aching due to the over use of his quirk as well as the magic spells
