While Tom and Peter were busy planning a way to counteract on the lizard serum and find a way to turn Connors back into a normal human, The said person was busy concocting the lizard serum to increase the population of the lizard race as he was clearly able to feel how easily the two had beaten him by teaming up, which sparked his already twisted mind to produce an even larger number of lizards.

The two heroes didn't notice as the reports of missing individuals started increasing everyday until Lizardman had an army of Lizards waiting for his call,

"They aren't as strong as me, but they will do just fine, hahahaha…."

The lizard laughed like a maniac as the people of New York kept going about their own lives, unaware of the approaching danger.

"So kids! Are you excited for your quizzes?" Tom asked with a smile as he looked at the group of teenagers, soon to be adults.

Tom looked at the students, Peter stood up from his seat like usual along with Gwen as they distributed the papers.

"Remember! No cheating in my class or I will fail you," Tom warned as he didn't like to be cheated, not after he spent weeks preparing the subjects for them despite his schedule filled with man-eating monsters and whatnot wannabe villains.

"Life is so hard!" Tom sighed as he drank his coffee while sitting on his chair.

Meanwhile, Gwen was busy talking to Peter while they did their quiz, Tom was already aware of this but decided to give them a free hand, besides the two of them were part-time colleagues as Gwen was interning under Connors while Peter was a noisy fellow who put his nose where it didn't belong and ended up making a big lizard monster that will change the beliefs of those living in this world.

"I wonder if Tony stark will show up to watch the show, I guess he is under too much pressure and can't really handle small matters because of the government, plus he is getting poisoned by the palladium in his body,"

Tom started recounting various events that will follow with a pinch of salt as the timeline was a little weird with a Toby Maguire Spiderman and a Melvin Potter that had a very tough character.

Soon the bells rung as everyone submitted their quizzes, Peter gave his paper as he hesitated while the others left.

Tom knew what this was about, so he looked at Peter.

"Peter, don't hesitate, tell me, what's been bothering you?" Tom asked as amicably as he could.

Peter who was hesitating took a long breath and replied,

"Professor, I might not be able to accompany you tomorrow as I have some matters to deal with," Peter finished.

"So it's just that, you should have said so from the start, it's no big deal as I also have some things I need to deal with tomorrow," Tom replied as he looked at Peter who sighed in relief.

He and Peter have started working together, Tom has to say, the boy or the man named Peter Parker is almost as smart if not more than the likes of Tony Stark, Shuri, and other heavyweights,

The two talked for a while before Tom had to leave, he still had training to do as he didnt know when the lizard would strike back, although if his memory served him right, Lizardman is supposed to be attacking in one or two days after the school incident or close.
