35 A Fulfilled Confession

Hina was at a loss for words after hearing Geld feelings and the internal burst of her own emotions made tears of happiness come out of her eyes, Geld was still kneeling in front of her, she was about to say yes when she remembered and thought

'Right… how could I say yes, we got secrets we are living in lies, even though this is a new empire different side of the continent, I cannot say yes while lying and I cannot tell the truth, I know my family won't want to come in the middle of my happiness but still'

She spoke

"No, I cannot, it is not that I do not like you if I have to say I love you" before she can speak any further Geld asked in a desperate voice

"Then why??, what is it that is not letting you say yes??"

"You don't know where I came from, I and my family have things we can not tell anyone, bad things, things that might trouble one in future, I cannot marry you while lying and I cannot reveal it either" Hina answered

Geld looked down towards the ground time seemed as if stopped, Hina heart was feeling torn over rejecting Geld the memories of the past coming to her mind and her the state of the guy who loved her with his whole heart in front of her kneeling

"Everything....everything" a low voice coming from Geld's mouth, Hina focused on it and Geld in a voice so loud that it resounded in every corner of the garden

Hina was shaken at this proclamation, the kids had surrounded them bot Geld looked up towards Hina

"I and my father both know that your family have secrets, due to my father skill we knew you guys are not criminals or bad and being the people we meet every day we believe that your reason for coming to live in this Zerah Village is something you can not tell or share and I expected that since the beginning"

"What!?" Hina was shocked at what Geld said but he continued speaking as he put his hand on his chest

"My father told me that I should present my feelings to you sooner before it is too late, I never thought my father who was always strict on training would be the one who will give me love advice, He told me to hold you before it is too late that love comes to those who are really lucky, he gave me the confidence to do this confession today also he told me if I am too late someone else might overtake"

"Village chief uncle did??" Hina was listening as pearls like tears fall from her eyes

"Yes, he did, he said he would think am a no-good son if I could not give him a daughter in law like you, you know what he said when I asked what about their secrets what if they come in between of our marriage"

"What?" Hina asked wiping her tears

"He told me to answer befitting Pernelle family befitting his Son," Geld said this and with eyes full of resolve he continued

"I do not fear whatever your secrets are, whether they are some dangerous enemies or a curse I will take it all, in the name of Pernelle family I will remain by your side and our family side if any trouble were to come it will be ours, I will never blame you, I do not care about your secrets and will not demand knowing them"

At this Hina started crying with a hand on her mouth she was thinking

'Completely different, from back then… I how? How come here?'

The bitter memories of the past before coming to work under the Rivera family and the happiness in front of her surrounds her mind and Geld said

"I will say once again, marry me Aiena, I promise to keep you happy"

Hina was still conflicted about what to do when

All the children were praising and telling qualities of Geld wanting to have their big brother confession accepted and, a little girl was pulling Hina skirt seeing them like that all the doubts and worries in Hina mind cleared and she spoke in a loving voice

Geld who was kneeling leaped up and they both kissed, it was as if they were melting in one and were in a feeling of pure bliss when

"Hina, Geld what are you doing!?" Priestess's voice came from behind, both of them separated embarrassingly, and looking behind Hina saw Priestess coming towards them she pointed back towards the children as she spoke

"I know you both are happy, but there are children here" as she pouted

Looking back Hina and Geld see a few of the children with hands over their eyes pretending they did not see anything, a few saying "eww" and then there were a few blushing both

"We are sorry" both Geld and Hina bowed to the Priestess apologizing

"Well being a special day I will forgive you both, but I never expected Geld to be this daring with confessing, I can just imagine how Village Chief had to motivate you," Priestess said,

"Did you hear it all!?, sister?" Geld asked Priestess

"Who wouldn't when you shout that loudly and passionately Geld? I still cannot believe it you did it for a person saying a few years before you are fine as it is with Village Chief for your family" answered Priestess with a smug and then looking towards Hina she said

"Hina thanks for accepting his confession, he is like my little brother please take care of him" at this Hina nodded,

Both of them said bye to children in church and when they were heading back to their homes Geld asked

"Can I and father visit early morning tomorrow Hina? I want to ask Lina and your family permission to marry you"

"Yes, I will tell them tonight so we will be prepared for your visit" Hina answered and feeling playful with a smug, she added

"Do you still want to hold my hand Geld? I imagine how warm it is, someone was shouting earlier" as soon as she said this Geld face turned red and he looked a bit down but slowly reaching towards her he held her hand tightly and spoke

"It is better than I ever imagined" Hina who wanted to laugh while making him blush was blushing as red as him,

Once, they reached the homes they separated and went to their respective homes which were side by side as they expected themselves to be in the near future, and Hina holding sweets went inside the house,

This is how Geld confession to Hina went and the time for dinner where Hina told everyone about It and Flash back ends,

After Hina finished telling the events of confession, everyone was impressed knowing about Geld's feelings Ryu thought

'Man that guy really is daring and strong when it boils down to it, this tale reminded me of shoujo Mangas I used to read'

Lina was crying tears of happiness while patting Hina head with eyes filled with warmth she said

"You finally met the one meant for you, right Hina just as I told you" hearing it Hina also began to cry remembering her past, in the distant past when Hina was 17 years old only she used to be a member of a Small Nobel family, her father wanted to sell her off into marriage to increase his standing in nobility, but Hina used to mess up the meetings and sometimes the other side would demand her being more in behavior the way she looks, but her father fed up after being rejected 5 times and every rejection leads to bad relations or image,

It was not like Hina was doing it intentionally but most of the Nobels her father presented her to were sleazy or drunk old men who he wanted to gain favor from, Not receiving any genuine affection from her father since childhood did not make the situation any better and Hina rebelled against it by making all her suitors say no,

Once her marriage with an Old Nobel who was sadistic was set up, who said to her

"I took permission from your father, I will tame this personality of yours" she destroyed that marriage on the day of marriage, in the church in front of everyone humiliated that old man and after that, her father exiled her from family if not for Lina being present in the town back then Hina would've become homeless she never thought she would marry someone after that day,

"Yes, Lina big sister I met him finally I did," Hina said while whipping her tears off her eyes and Lina stopped patting

"Now now, enough with sadness, I always doubted that Village Chief Uncle suggested us this house while thinking about more things that he told us"

At this everyone nods, even Ryu who act like a proper 3-year-old not reacting to complicated things nodded instinctively, and then Lina said

"Well I believe in Village chief uncle a lot now, and we can be surer of our belief if Hina gets married right?"

"Yes, Lina big sister you are right, we have received a lot from Village chief Uncle since we moved here," Lana said and Snow nodded, Aiena added

"Yes, both Geld big brother and Grandpa Chief is very good even Ryu feel the same"

"Geld big brother very cool, Grandpa cool" Ryu said

"So it is decided we will receive them graciously tomorrow, and if everything goes well, we will tell them a bit about our past and Ryu because even though they say they do not want our secrets, we can not keep them in dark if Geld is going to marry Hina"

"Yes, Lina big sister I will wake up early and prepare some delicious snacks," Lana said

"Will fix the room," Snow said, although she does the least household work her saying she will fix the room shows her enthusiasm

"I will..." before Hina could speak she got cut by Lina

"You will just focus on yourself and be presentable tomorrow is a big day for you" and Hina blushed

After finishing their dinner all of them went to the bed surprisingly it was Lana who was teasing Hina tonight and getting her too worked up to sleep.
