72 Threatening Zeoticus

One of the elders protested against Izashi saying, "I don't accept this, this would simply break the imbalance and there would be no way to keep the actions of the head in check-"

He suddenly stopped speaking as Izashi's snapped his fingers and a small spark of Fire flew towards him. The elder didn't really care about it too much because he thought 'What can this little fire do to me…?'

He soon received his answer as his body started to burn and be destroyed at the same time. Izashi didn't even look at the elder whom he had just killed and asked them, "Anyone has any protests?"

His face was so serious while asking the question like he didn't realize what he had just done, it was like he had destroyed the elder on an instinct because he was being a pest.

"This is suppression by power-" and another snap caused another elder to be burned to the death, no ash was left behind as he was destroyed.

Izashi asked them once again, "Just raise your protests at a single time, I don't like to ask repeatedly. So, is there still anyone who has a problem with the rule?" No-one answered his question this time, they lowered their heads unable to meet eye to eye contact with Izashi.

Izashi however used this silence as well, "Good, that's what I thought. In the future, if I ever hear a single protest from among you to any of my orders then I would remove this whole council…"

His threatening words made them sweat, they used their handkerchiefs to wipe their sweat but they couldn't do anything about their fast heartbeat which signalled how scared they were at the moment.

His power was simply horrific for them to even think of. They felt like he was even more terrifying than Sirzechs with how easily and ruthlessly he used his power.

It was a very sad thing that they couldn't even ask help from Sirzechs because knowing about the love between these siblings, they were sure that he wasn't going to go against Izashi.

In fact, he might even receive the support of a Satan which they were unwilling to see. One Izashi was bad enough, and adding a Satan to the equation simply destroyed any hope of them regaining their power.

Besides, Izashi could also keep Sirzechs out of this matter since Sirzechs wasn't a member of the Gremory Family. He was a lucifer, he couldn't very well interfere within the personal matters of a house.

After he had maintained his stance and made them understand about the rule, he ordered in a loud and clear tone, "Now, since that is out of the way. I appoint Zeoticus Gremory as the Political and economic head for the Gremory house."

Many of the elders who supported Izashi in that voting earlier instantly regretted their choice of letting him fight Zeoticus which in turn made him the head of the Gremory House.

Hearing that he was going to receive the place, Zeoticus raised his head with a happy feeling bursting inside his heart.

He stepped forwards and bowed his head, "I shall try my best to perform wonderfully at these positions."

Izashi shrugged off his bow and words, he signalled all the elders to retire now, since he wanted to talk to Zeoticus alone.

After all of them left the room, he started speaking to Zeoticus, "Zeoticus, I order you to remove your evil piece from Venelana!"

(A/N: I have tried my best to find out if Venelana is Zeoticus's Queen or not but unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Even if someone finds it now, please keep it to yourself since I will be using the fact that she was Zeoticus's queen. I know that she was the strongest Bael member of her time but just go along with it I had say, it's not that much of a change anyways…)

Those words struck like a thunder onto Zeoticus' words. He was stunned for a couple of minutes and took some time to acknowledge the order he had just heard.

His voice raised by a few decibels, "Son, you are going over your limits by asking my to do this!" From his voice it was clear that he was very angry at the moment.

Izashi stared at him with a sharp expression, "I am the head of the family. Biologically, you are my father but that relation means nothing to me. You are now just someone who works under me and has to follow my order."

Both of them stayed silent for a minute before Izashi continued, "And as for Venelana, she had an arrange marriage with you by the Baels and was to give birth to the heir who would inherit the Gremory House. The work is done, she had given birth to one heir who has now become the head of the Gremory house."

He paused for a couple of seconds and enjoyed the look of frustration that was on Zeoticus's face, "And now, being together with you and making children won't make heirs to the clan. It would simply be useless for the House to have her produce more children with you, I am much better suited for this task."

Zeoticus was completely silent because logically speaking Izashi was right at the moment. But he still didn't want to part with his beautiful wife…

Izashi seeing that Zeoticus wasn't moving spoke in an icy cold voice, "Not following through my order only means courting death. If you want, you can receive it right now by staying silent."

His words forced Zeoticus to raise his heads and stare into his eyes. Izashi however didn't flinch at all even with those emotions in his eyes.

He already planned on having Venelana and he was going to receive her now. He was sure that there would be no major objections coming from Venelana because it was indeed an arranged marriage so that the Bael clan could exercise better control over the young devils of the Gremory Clan.

Zeoticus did speak up a word in a trembling voice, he couldn't believe he was forced to this extent by his own son, "A-Alright…"

This was all Izashi needed to hear before he spoke out, "At this moment, Venelana must have just come out of her evening bath. Let's greet her and let her know of this interesting information, I am sure she is going to be very delighted."

Hearing his son talk like this, Zeoticus was getting increasingly annoyed, he couldn't even say anything in fear of being killed. He valued his life a lot.

Venelana had just got out of the shower and was in her room, pulling out her clothes from the closet. She heard a creaking sound and turned her head towards the door, she had a cold expression because the one who had just entered at come at the wrong time.

But her expression soon changed when she saw that it was Izashi and Zeoticus. She spoke out with a smile on her charming face, "Wait a second outside, I will come out to talk after wearing the clothes."

Izashi shook his head and started to speak seriously, "Venelana, its quite an important information. Depending on this information, your actions for the next couple of hours may vary."

He said this while staring at her from up to bottom, he was looking at her with those eyes which clearly expressed the desire to fuck her.

Izashi stared at Zeoticus and nudged him, "Now, Zeoticus, it isn't very nice to stay silent. Start speaking…!"

Zeoticus gritted his teeth before starting in fear of his life, "Venelana, Izashi has defeated me in battle and has become the new Head of the Gremory Family. I am going to follow through his order and remove my Evil Piece inside of you."

Venelana was surprised to hear that, she stared at Izashi and asked him, "Why are you making Zeoticus do that? Why do you want him to remove the evil piece from inside of me son?"

Izashi stared at her and started to speak, "I am going to revive you as my own rook. Don't worry, your advantages would be much greater than the advantages from his Queen Piece."

Hearing this, Zeoticus wasn't that surprised that he was going to revive her as his own peerage member but what surprised him was the fact when he said that his rook piece would give more advantages than his own queen piece.

Zeoticus didn't know what to say at this point and thought 'Am I being underestimated so much…?'
