An Anti-Feminist or Conformist?

You know Sigmund Freud? That psychology guy who said that, upon s**ual maturity, girls start competing with their moms for their dad's affections?

Freud proposed this theory (which is part of his Odepius complex) because of the backlash he faced (from men) regarding his statement that many girls grew up traumatized and "attracted" to older men because of the m*lestation they received from their fathers. Because of this backlash, Freud introduced his Odepius complex theory to assuage the anger of these men by claiming that their daughters were the ones who wanted to be m*lested.

So... anti feminist? The Odepius complex, yes. Freud? Not necessarily. But he definitely was a conformist who cared about the opinions of the crowd.
