"Sigh, finally a Junior Mage. That was tough." Mizar let out a sigh. These last few days Mizar was busy hunting all day. He changed his hunting grounds often.
Beasts generally don't come outside the fog and hunt inside. But when food was delivered to their footsteps, why would they fight with other beasts for food. Thousand King Beasts ordered the Hundred Beast Kings to search and bring food. So Mizar hasn't encountered any Thousand King Beasts.
But if the number was lowered drastically, the Thousand Beast Kings would notice something wrong and come themselves. Therefore, Mizar couldn't hunt at the same place and the same species of beasts for a long time.
The clan became a bit lenient towards Mizar. He saved the face for the clan in the Merchant Caravan. He was basically a genius. Most of the kids his age were in the clan academy, still learning how to use magic and fighting tactics. But he was already a Peak stage Adept Mage. Such a genius would be welcomed in a four-star or even five-star clan.
The clans were divided from one-star to seven-stars in the Northern Mountains. One-star and two-star clans weren't even considered a clan by anyone, they were just called groups. Rung clan was a three-star clan. The Shan Clan was a semi four-star clan. It was in the process of becoming a four-star clan. The Caravan leader was from the four-star clan.
To be a One-star clan, it should have at least one Junior Mage and five Adept Mage. One Intermediate Mage and five Junior Mage for the two-star clan and so on for higher clans.
They didn't want Mizar to leave the clan because of them. Losing such genius because of them, they would be a sinner of the clan. People who mocked and insulted Mizar would sometimes wake up in the middle of the night seeing a nightmare of Mizar punching their face.
The most important thing was, they could see that Mizar wasn't a Body Refinement Mage but had such strength meaning, he could jump the stages to fight someone of the higher stage than him. There weren't many people who could fight people at a higher level than oneself. He was like a genius born once in a hundred years. But they didn't know that this genius would bring the destruction of the clan in a near future.
Mizar was excited to explore the valley inside the fog, but he had to prepare. So he opened the shop to see if there was anything suitable.
There were many things in the shop but nothing suitable for him. After browsing for a moment, he found something that may be suitable for him. It was called [Lelantus's Mask].

The mask had a design on top of it. It looked like a bird was poking on someone's chest, but because it was only one-fifth of the part, you couldn't see the whole thing.
"What the fuck?! 20,000 coins! I only have 1000 coins. How much time would it take me to get 20,000 coins? The mask is great, but I don't have 20,000 coins. Let me bookmark it so it doesn't disappear." The shop refreshes daily and items that were there yesterday may or may not be there today. But it also had the function to bookmark something so that it doesn't get refreshed.
"Let's leave it for now. Maybe there will be something useful tomorrow. First, let's distribute the stat points." The breakthrough this time gave him 8 stat points.
He then put 2 stat points in Intelligence, 2 in vitality, 2 in agility, 1 in Sense and 1 in Strength.

He was amazed at the things that happened just by upgrading it to level 2. He then sold the Penal Colony to the shop. He had bought it for 2500 coins but only got 2000 coins after selling it. He also sold some herbs he found in the Mountains, and now he had a total of 3500 coins.
Mizar looked every day for a suitable item but didn't find anything. He felt that it was because he had bookmarked similar item, so he thought of removing the bookmark, but he didn't remove it because he felt that the item was great and he would probably never see it again.
After killing and completing tasks for five months, he finally had enough coins to buy the [Lelantus's Mask]. In this entire 5 months, not even once did a suitable item came in the shop.
"Hahaha finally... Finally, I have enough coins. Now I will explore the valley and then leave this Mountain and explore the outside world. There must be a treasure in there, inside that bright light. ," He bought the mask. His coins decreased until there were only 3 coins left.
The piece of mask floated on air emitting a pale golden colour giving an ancient vibe. When he touched it, the mask automatically attached itself to his face covering half of his left eye and the part below the eye. Although the mask was covering half of his eye, he could see through the mask, so his sight wasn't hindered.
He then ordered one of the undead to scout the area inside the fog. Seeing that there were no beasts near that place, he sent all the undead in the Underworld and went inside the fog.
He walked for about 5 minutes when a stinging sensation came inside his body, to be more accurate in his soul. A red notification panel came.

He didn't know what black matter was, but he knew it was harmful. So he ran at his fastest speed inside the valley because he was near it and there was no fog in the valley. After a minute, he arrived in the valley.
Inside the fog was exactly what he had seen through the undead. In middle was a landmass with a bright light above it. Below was a river flowing from east to west of the valley dividing it into two parts and a mountain range from north to south further dividing it into four parts.
Above the centre was the landmass with the bright light. The four parts had four different topography. One was filled with forest, one was flatlands, one was rocky and one was desert. The mountain wasn't like this before. It probably happened after that incident.
He was now in the forest. Now was the time to farm for exp, get the treasure and see what is that bright light.
