4 Joining the student council

Opening my eyes, I get up as I turn off my alarm clock and go to the bathroom to sort out my basic needs and take a shower.

After showering, I go down to the kitchen only to find Alice putting breakfast on the table.

"I hope you don't mind if I make breakfast, boss." Alice said seeing that I went to the kitchen.

"No need to worry, I appreciate it very much if you make breakfast, after all, your food is always great." I spoke while I sat down.

"So, whenever I can, I'll make breakfast." Alice spoke cheerfully.

After breakfast, I go up to my room to put on the school uniform and glasses to go to school, after all, today I want to arrive earlier because I want to be able to be part of the student council, I think this is the easiest way to get close to Kaguya.

I know that in the first six months of the year Kaguya and Miyuki must be in a cold war to see who invites the other person on a date, so I can use that time to be closer to Kaguya, even if she doesn't fall in love with me, I can put a seed in her heart, right?

When I was leaving the house, I saw Alice coming towards me.

"Do you want me to give you a ride, boss?" Alice offered me smiling.

"Yes, I will, Alice, and please call me Nick, as I have said to you many times." I said accepting the proposal.

Arriving at school, I see many students talking about the perfect couple that is Kaguya and Miyuki.

"So ignorants." I thought as I walked to the student council room.

Knock Knock

I knocked on the door and waited until it opened and on the other side I saw Kaguya.

"Yea?" Kaguya asked as she opened the door for me to enter.

"Good morning, I would like to speak with the president because I want to participate in the student council and preferably, as a position, I would like to enter as a cultural director". I said as I bowed slightly to the student council president that it would be Shirogame Miyuki.

"Good morning, please have a seat." Miyuki spoke, offering a seat across from him (Miyuki is in the student council chair).

"Well." I said as I sat down.

"Your name would be Miyazono Nicholas, wouldn't it? And why do you want to join the student council as a cultural director? "Miyuki said while Kaguya stood beside him.

"Yes, my name is Miyazono Nicholas, because I would like to join the student council and because I would like to join the student council because i haven't seen anyone doind that role and i believe i would be suitable for the job." I said it in a way that was neither humble nor arrogant.

"And why do you think you would be suitable for the job?" Miyuki asked curiously.

"It is because I know a lot about music, theaters, and books and I also think that, as I came from outside Japan, I can promote events that will be interesting because they are new to students." I spoke convincingly.

"Well, I would have to get the student council members together to be able to discuss this, but I see it in a very favorable light, so you could come when classes are over and I will give you an answer." Miyuki spoke after thinking about it for a while.

"So, I'm going to class first, thanks Shirogane-san, Shinomiya-san." I said as she got up and left the room.

"What do you think, Shinomiya?" Miyuki spoke looking at the door after I left.

"It seems to be an interesting proposal, we must talk to the members to decide." Kaguya also spoke looking at the door.

"I understand." Miyuki replied absently.

Arriving at the classroom door, I open the door and enter only to see one, Ai full of energy and cheerfully greeting me.

"Good morning Nicholas-san."

"Good morning Ai-san." I returned the greeting to Ai.

After yesterday's conversation, I got Ai's number, we talked by message yesterday and we even agreed to call us by our first name, which I think is great progress.

Finishing a few more words with Ai, I sat down and looked out the window while waiting for the teacher and I didn't have to wait long because the teacher came into the room.

When I turned my attention to the teacher, I noticed that Kaguya was already in the room.

"Good morning students, let's start classes." The teacher spoke while she put her materials on the table and started writing on the board.

After I saw the teacher writing on the board, I stopped paying attention and started thinking about how to get close to Kaguya, after all she was in love with Miyuki, but not that I was discouraged, because, I'm sure I can win Kaguya's passion.

Finally the bell rang that said the break started, so I got up and left the room, when I left I saw people talking about how I talked to Ai at the beginning of classes and that we even called each other by our first names, but I just ignored them.

"You guys seem close." Kaguya told Ai quietly.

"We just talked a little bit." Ai replied Kaguya.

"I see, let me know if you discover anything." Kaguya said again.

Leaving the room I went to the roof with the purpose of eating and looking at the clouds, while eating I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"You should make friends." Ai

"I have you, don't i?" I replied turning around, only to see a blushing Ai looking at me.

"Do you want to taste my bento?" Asked Ai trying to change the subject and hide her blush.

"Can i really?" I asked back letting her change the subject.

Ai sigh in your mind.

"Of course you can." Ai spoke while offering me the bento.

"You can have some of mine too." I offered some of my food.

"It is very tasty." I said after tasting.

"Thank you, yours is also not bad." Ai spoke with a little pink on her cheeks.

After we finished talking we went back to the classroom.

"Let's go to the student council room." Kaguya who was in front of me spoke after the end of school bell rang.

"Let's go." I said getting up and following her.

Arriving at the student council room I saw Fujiwara Chika (secretary) and Yu Ishigami (Treasurer) sitting on the sofa along with Miyuki who is the chairman of the council.

"Sit down." Miyuki spoke pointing to the front sofa.

"Well, we discussed and came to the conclusion that it would be a good choice to have a cultural director on the board and we also decided to accept you to join the board as a cultural director." Miyuki told me after I sat down.

"Thank you for giving me this opportunity and I guarantee that I will not disappoint you." I spoke as I slightly curved my upper body.

"Well, as a cultural director you will help the school's events, but since we are at the beginning of the year we don't have these events, so you can come to the student council whenever you want as long as it doesn't disturb our functions." Miyuki.

"Next to me are Fujiwara Chika and Yu Ishigami, who are secretary and treasurer respectively, I believe you already know, but we also have Shinomiya Kaguya as vice president." Said Miyuki

"My name is Miyazono Nicholas and it is a pleasure to meet you Fujiwara-san and Yu-san, I know Shinomiya-san, as we are in the same room, but it's also a pleasure Shinomiya-san, please take care of me." I introduced myself and greeted them.

"It is a pleasure Miyazono-san and you can call me Chika." Chika spoke in her usual cheerful way.

"So please call me Nicholas, Chika." I replied to Chika.

"It is a pleasure Miyazono-san and you can also call me Ishigami." Ishigami spoke normally.

"Please call me Nicholas, Ishigami-san, well you can all call me that, since I'm not used to Japanese terms and I don't like formalities either." I spoke the first to Ishigami and the second looking at everyone with a smile, which left everyone stunned for a moment.

"By the way, Nicholas-san, why are you wearing sunglasses?" Kaguya who was sitting next to Miyuki asked me after she came out of the stunning that my smile caused.

"Well, my eyes are sensitive to light, so I use them." I replied to Kaguya while observing her reaction to calling her by her first name and, to my surprise, she didn't even react.

"Would you like to see it?" I asked with a smile.
