Rankings and Power Levels Explained

[Rankings and Power Levels]

Attributes, like Strength and Intelligence are classified in an F -> S system. +'s and -'s allow for 3 stages within each rank, and experience is required to promote to the next rank or stage. It increases 10 fold per rank:

Rank -> EXP required to promote to the next subrank/rank

F -> 100

E -> 1,000

D -> 10,000

C -> 100,000

B -> 1,000,000

A -> 10,000,000

S -> 100,000,000

To gain experience for attributes, one must complete tasks appropriate to one's level, like defeating monsters, exercising, solving puzzles, etc.

-------------

Skills do not follow this rank system but are similar in the way experience is needed and gained. Skills are instead broken up into Beginner, Intermediate, Expert, and Master ranks. These ranks have stages as well, which require 10 fold experience as the stage increases. As stages and ranks increase, the power, utility, and sometimes mana cost of the skill increases as well.

For example:

Stage 1 requires 10 EXP, while Stage 2 requires 100 EXP, etc.

Experience for skills are gained through practice and usage. Using the skills during tough situations will increase the amount of experience earned.

-------------

Finally, Elemental Affinity is ranked on the F -> S scale, with +'s and -'s as well. These are innate rankings which can only be changed with the use of divine or demonic items, or through rare, raw encounters with the elements. The higher the affinity rank, the stronger one's talents are within that element.

Is S+ the limit though? Time will tell.
