15 Narrow Escape

Once they finished the little thing (They found out it was called a 'Deer') for breakfast Star sighed a little inpatient. She wanted to play or hear story's but Flowdd seemed a little shy. So she occupied then by learning about each other.

" Well I'm a Floating Ash dragon. I am nearly two years old and... I am a good hunter. I guess I like to fly and help others out. " Flowdd said. Star had made them all answer the same questions, what dragon are you, age, something you are good at and what you like to do.

" Cool. I'm a Fuzzy Fox dragon, I have just turned one-year old and I am good at making jokes. I also like to wrestle and play." Buggy said with a flourish from his claws. It was painfully like Light Bringer.

" I am a Emerald Eyed Dragon, I am one year old and I am good at making good choices and good at remembering things. I like exploring and racing." Pine said sounding a little unsure of himself. Star was next.

" I am Star and I am-" She was cut of by a loud roar from a few feet below

" DEAD!" The roar said. Flowdd's face changed to one of terror. There was a hissing sound and he jumped out berthing fire at the dragon. Star flew out of the hallow and saw Riptide. She was a huge Water Wind Dragon that had been present and very active in the invasion. Star howled and lunched herself past the flames at her face. She clawed her eyes and growled under her breath. Riptide yelled and her claws went to her face. Heat scored her back. She leaped off just in time. Flowdd's fire was barely hurting Riptide, it was meant for a distraction. She flew off and saw Buggy trying hard to jump from tree to tree. She glanced back swiftly to see Flowdd flying into the trees for cover from Riptide. She flew faster. The others where trying hard to wait for Buggy there terror made it hard. Over a loud roar of rage she saw a hole. Maybe a fox hole or rabbit hole. But if they could make it into that hole with out Riptide seeing they could hide over the sent. She dove for the hole the others seeing her did the same. Riptide laughed in a pure way of evil. Before she squirmed in she saw Riptide eyes. She was in the hole trying to get further under ground. She felt someone push her farther in. She came to a little opening. The old sent of Fox was here. Pine came in next then Moon lastly Buggy. Star realized that the sent of fear was also very strong in here. Star groaned a little. When she had seen Riptides eyes she has saw her claw marks burned into her skin. She had scratched her eyes up and Flowdd, where ever he was now, had burned her face. She shivered and prayed they would not be found.

" AH AH AH AH AHHA AHA!" Riptides terrifying howls and laughing could be heard from a million miles away in Stars ears. She shivered more violently.
