Close Call

Riptide laughed hysterically out side the hole. Moon didn't dare to breathe. Holding his breath he listened to Riptide.

" My god. A little Floating Ash dragon. My god. I never knew I let one of those pests live. " She said with a smile in her voice. A sick, sick, smile. Moon felt rage in him. The first trust worthy dragon in a terrible world and Riptide had found them. She must have noticed that they had gone missing. Probably because of the ' secret weapon gene '. If they really did have this gene was it going to be to be useful?

" Come out you little devils. COME OUT!!! I need that gene. I need it. " Riptide cried wildly. At that moment Moon knew that if they stayed here there fear would be to much. Buggy would stay here, Moon would fly into the tree since he was the fastest flier. Pine could zip into the bushes and Star could attack once more if need and they could met back here once they shook her off. Then all ran for there life. He braced himself.

" Buggy stay Pine bushes me trees Star distract. Then we met back here. Okay. " Moon said in his quietest whisper. Buggy eyes bulged. Pine looked a little scared but nodded. Star looked like she was already an elite warrior ready for a battle the odds impossible. They all made them selves ready. Taking a deep breath Star jumped out of the hole. Moon heard her yell. And was a few feet in the air when he yelled.

" Ha, Sister is right. Thought you could get us but don't even know how to fight a baby!" Moon shouted as Pine sprung up from the hole and shouted some more insults. Riptide roared in rage. She leapt into the air and mop flew swiftly I to the branches. He heard them break from Riptide as she charged after him. He was about to break free of the trees when Pine was yelling a battle cry. Moon while around and saw him shredding her ear. She roared and shook Pine off. He flew next to Moon.

" FLY DUMMY!" He shouted madly as he flew past. Moon fallowed above the trees they saw Star. She directed for them to fallow. They did flapping frantically. She was going up. They fallowed. They all flew higher and higher. The trio flew as high as they could till the air currents would have blew them away.

" DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!" Star yelled. They where in a big cloud and Moon was slammed harshly up then sideways. He felt so terrified it was Riptide. He yelled and slammed his wings in. He began to rocket to the ground. The pin pricks of the water in the cloud made him yell. He saw Pine and Star diving a little ahead of him. He flapped his wings to make himself faster. Moon Extended one wing out and saw Riptide madly flying in the clouds. He smiled. They had lost her. He turned back around her was closer to the trees he slowly put his wings out not wanting to break them to splitters. Once he reached the ground he found the hole in a minute he sighed with relief. His friends where okay.
