Powers, Abilities, and Skills. Ranking and more info

This page is less about spoilers and more about how the power (system) works

All the things absorbed (powers, skills, abilities, etc) are in orbs. What type they are is determined by orb color.

- Natural Abilities, things that all members of the species possess: White

- Skills, things that can be gained through training: Silver

- X-Gene, power from natural mutant gene: Purple with X across it

- Mutate, power from non-natural mutation: Red

- Inhuman, power from inhuman gene: Blue

- Magical, power due to magical means: Green

Natural abilities are forever at the level they are at and can't be suppressed by normal means (power suppressing collars, anti-magic barriers, etc). Abilities can either be active or passive. Some abilities, such as magic, have potential attached to them. Potential ranks from:

- Normal: No potential

- Basic: Can barely use the ability or has a small level of talent in the field

- Moderate: Potential/talent are at an acceptable level to impress those without talent

- High: Talent at this level allows one to be a superhero/villain with their skill

- Very High: The peak of what most people can achieve without divine intervention. To have talent above this is 1 in a trillion

Higher levels are determined by the ability. Magic Potential for example has SSC (Sorcerer Supreme Candidate), SS (Sorcerer Supreme), and Magic Deity above very high

Skills have ranks to them and are all passive. The skill ranks are:

- Novice: Knows next to nothing about the skill

- Apprentice: Has some basic knowledge with a skill

- Adept: Can be called average in a skill

- Expert: Olympic level with a skill

- Master: Top 100 in said skill

- Absolute: Ability with the skill has reached supernatural levels (Using a normal sword to cut a target 100 feet away, fighting the hulk with a normal human body and just martial arts, etc)
