"And that is it folks! Time has ran out and the Eagles' season is now over yet again! Will we ever see them rise up in the rankings ever again?!"

The fans that were watching already left way earlier. They knew this was coming. They knew that there beloved team will never make it to the post season. They knew that they will still end up in the last place.

*Locker Room*

"Yes! Finally the season is over! I can now go back to the province!"

"Wow. You sure are lucky. Getting paid a big bag while going home earlier than the others? What a man!"

"That is what you get when you are here in this team. We can lose but still get paid with money! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

*LOCKER GETS PUNCHED*

"WILL YOU PLEASE SHUT UP!!! PEREZ, CRUZ, DID YOU JUST REALIZE WHAT YOU SAID?!"

The two young men stopped laughing and bowed their heads.

"I am sorry Captain."

"I am also sorry for what we said captain."

Suddenly, someone joined the conversation.

"Why are you guys sorry? What you said is true. Our team sucks. That is true. All we can do is laugh about it. Right, Captain Aguilar?"

Aguilar was furious about that statement.

"You better not say that again Ruiz. I do not need any players that does not want to win int this team! Are you guys satisfied with all this losing?!?!"

The people that were listening are all silent.

"I am not satisfied Captain. Which is why I am glad that my contract is about to end. I can now go away from this team. I have always hated you anyways." Ruiz commented.

The captain was so furious that he attempted to punch Ruiz in the face but was held back by the rest of the players.

Before a brawl was about to break out, the Coach and the General Manager of the team suddenly appeared.

"PLAYERS!!!!!!! LINEUP IN FIVE SECONDS!" The coach yelled.

"YES COACH ESPIRITU!" The players replied in unison as they lined up.

"I have came here with General Manager Wilson to announce you something."

"What is it Coach?"

"You better listen first before you talk Aguilar!"

"I am sorry coach!"

"General Manager, you can now take the stage."

"Thank you coach. I came here to meet all of you to tell you this. I have spent my whole career in this franchise. From my playing career to my coaching and now my managing career. I am very glad to become someone that holds this position. And due to my old age, I am here to announce that I am finally retiring my job as the General Manager of the Eagles."

All of the players were shocked. The General Manager for the Team for almost 15 years decided to resign. They were surprised with this news.

"A-Are you sure about this decision Sir Chavez?" Captain Aguilar asked.

"Yes captain. This decision will be a final one. You will probably be meeting your new manager the next week. Now that I told you the news, I shall now take my leave."

"GOODBYE SIR CHAVEZ!!!!"

The old general manager now headed to the owner's office with the coach. In the office, Mr. Lim was sitting in his leather chair waiting for their arrival.

"Did you already told the boys?" The owner asked as he lighted his cigar.

"Of course sir Lim."

"Good. Now that we have are done with your service, we can find a new one."

"Actually sir, I have a recommendation."

"Who is it?"

"I know someone who is a prodigy when it comes to managing basketball teams using simulation games."

"Really?"

"Yes. He has also won the world championships when it comes to this esports."

"So you are telling me that a gamer should replace you? Why should I do that? He does not know a thing about real-life basketball!"

"I can personally guide him sir."

"Why would you do that?"

"Because he is my grandson. His name is Aiden Chavez."
