1 The Beginning

In the beginning there was nothing but a vast extensive void of darkness which reached beyond which the eye could see. For centuries there was nothing, until there was. Within the void appeared a vast and shapeless entity unknown in origin. This creature with its endless power had begun to shape something out of nothing. Suddenly stars of light started to dot the empty void which slowly but surely was filled with life. Eventually planets started to appear, formed out of earthen material or elemental gases. Planets orbiting stars appeared all over the cosmos.

On one particular planet a miracle happened, the miracle known as life. This life was anything but ordinary for the shapeless creature had created what would be known as Gods. The creation of these Gods was the final act, as the formless being granted these Gods unimaginable power it begun to fade out of existence never to be seen again with the only thing indicating that it had ever existed being the gods.

These Gods used their powers to develop the world of Iroth. Led by the wielder of the power of the stars, Solaris, they built up a divine kingdom above the planet in which they resided. The Gods made the decision to create brand new and numerous forms of life to help fill their lonely kingdom. They created their citizens, beings such as angels, hippogriffs, and many more.

Their ambitions unsatisfied the Gods created countless forms of life to inhabit the face of the planet they created humans, elves, fairies, dwarves, gnomes, and even powerful beasts with magical powers.

Then the Gods created hell, the land of the dead with the original intention of it being a land where the souls of the dead would reside, ruled over by the God of death Atlas. Hell at this time was a paradise, a land where souls could stay and rest for eternity or chose to be brought back in another life.

Life would go on to flourish on the planet, kingdoms and empires rising up and falling, people living their lives in peace going from day to day.

People were happy until the day known as the fall.
