From the Ashes: Firebird Rising

His lover Malcolm Danvers is a homicide detective who cleans up the petty theft as long as he knows about them. One night, one of Everett's clubs is targeted, and a body is slain after hours. After the initial shock, a series of murders happens in other bars, including Everett's other two clubs. All evidence points back to Everett and a past he can't remember. But what if that past shows things that no one ever thought would exist in this time.
