I like Yiling's temperament and personality very much, though I wish we had some more information about her past life in the institute, I assume it will happen later in the story.

good read overall. there are a few inconsistencies which will hopefully get resolved once the story moves forward. the concept however is good. hope this gets selected for further releases

I found this book to be boring at first but then i got into the characters and really enjoyed it. It really came to life for me. It was adventurous and exciting.

I don't know how to say this...This story is painful, it's sweet, it's funny, it's breathtaking, it's fun, it's different, it's interesting and it's full of surprises. I love the characters; the evil ones are still annoying as ever, but the female protagonist cannot any more likeable that she already is. The FL is very, well, dense and the ML is overprotective. I love both of them. (XO Why have they not kissed, even 100 chapters in? XD) I really love this story. I forgot which chapter I was in though. Someone please tell me: "where is it that Jiang Yiling moves in with the ML and the male lead meets FL's cousin and they have some sort of conflict(between ML and Yiling's cousin who likes to dress up as a girl). This happens after the timeskip." Please, if you know, could you inform around which chapter this happens. It would be highly appreciated 👍

Im upto chaps 102 & i so far im loving the storyline between FL and Master Sheng .. I do hope she ends up with him , but from what ive read so far , from how the past & future , it doesnt look promising .. I hope somehow , someway things might change & they end up 2gether 😁

Well, this novel really comes as a breath of fresh air. I'm honestly sick, disgusted, and just speechless at the typical Chinese "romance" novel. I always believed them to be the wild fantasies of a woman in her late forties who is bored of her marriage and life, where she'll have a hot husband, be the most beautiful with a sexy body, have a successful career where everyone is jealous of her, and have wild $ex with her husband all day everyday. I've tried reading some romance, but every time it's the same shit. And I'm really sick of it to the core. That's where novels like this come. The story truly focuses on the female leads feelings and the feelings of everyone else around her. I'm too lazy to write about all the points to be honest, but I can say this one feels like the something school prince Charming is a girl or something like that. Except it doesn't have that gay vibe, but whatever you like. I personally liked this one more because I love how the female lead starts as someone pretty much dead and then slowly learn how to feel, it felt like watching your kid grow. It's just beautiful. TL;DR If you feel sick of all the wild $ex "romance" fantasies bullshit, and you wanna read a romance that's actually about feelings instead of $ex, then try this novel!
