6 You Are Obligated To

The next day, 7:30 P.M.

Right after class they went to the top of the same building. On the way there, "Guys are we sure we want to continue? We don't even know what will happen after we get there and give them an answer..." Leslie said nervously

"Enough Leslie, we've been over this," Kristin said with an annoyed tone, "You're not the only one who is worried what would happen, but you saw what they can do."

"Yea, even if we turn back, they'd either kill us, force us to come to them, or they come to us, and we don't want them coming to us in case we are in public and get innocents involve in this," Alex said in a calm voice, almost too calm, if not for his obviously fake smile, the other's would think something is not right.

"You don't know, maybe if we say no they would let us go and not bother us," Charlotte suggested, trying to brighten up the gloomy and anxious atmosphere,

"Well, there's only one way to find out, and maybe Charlotte is right and they let us go, if not, let's force our way out," Elijah said also trying to cheer their mood.

"Hmm..." the group nodded at Elijah's suggestion and they made their way to the top of a building.

A few minutes later... 7:52 P.M.

On top of a building...

"You sure took your time," Zach said said while emanating a heavy aura, this in turn scared Alex's group.

"Now now Zach, give them some slack!" Estela said with a smile while holding Zach's shoulder, "Hi again! I'm glad you came," Estela greeted with a bright tone.

"Yea..." The group said in unison, 'At least the girl is nice' they all thought in unison again.

"So let's get this started, I'm sure we wont need to introduce ourselves again," Cecil said while seemingly drawing a magic circle on the air, this sacred Alex's group because they thought he would cast magic and hurt them, Cecil of course noticed this and said "Oh, don't worry, this is wont hurt you, at least not alot."

He said while throwing the magic circle at the ground, the magic circle then expanded to cover both Alex's and Estela's group and just like that they were gone on top of the building like they were never there.

"What the-!" Elijah screamed but it was seemingly cut off as a lush forest replaced the city scape.

"alright, let's continue, I'm sure you have alot of questions to ask so go ahead," Zach said while glaring at Alex's group,

"Okay... first and foremost, why us?" Kristin said with utter confidence,

"Simple," Ethan started, and added "you were chosen by the spirits of Phantasia,"

"Spirits? Like the ones on horror movies?" Kristin continued

"Oh no no, its more like spirits on those fantasy type games, you know, the round ones like wisps" Ethan answered again.

"Okay..." Kristin nodded as she backed away, seeing she was done with her question, Ethan also backed away,

"My turn," Charlotte said as she stepped forward, "Why should we save them?"

Yes! A simple question and yet so hard to answer.

Cecil also stepped forward, "It's because... You are obligated to,"

"What? What do you mean we are obligated?" Charlotte asked "We don't know those people, neither do they know us!" she said angrily,

"Yes you are right, but I don't suppose that when you help a stranger they know you too right?" Cecil said coldly as she glared at Charlotte, which surprisingly, Charlotte didn't flinch nor did she felt any fear.

"And can you live with the guilt that an entire world has been enslaved by aliens because you refused to help even though you have the power to prevent it all?" Cecil added, staring coldly at Charlotte. She just simply turn around and went behind the group, and Cecil did the same.
