It's Monday 7:40 am, "CRAP!!" a shout that would've awoken the entire town, a boy named Alexander, who just woke up when he saw the time on his clock. "Crap I'm late, Crap I'm late, Crap I'm late," he repeatedly said while dressing up, "Why the hell didn't mom wake me up," he said as he ran out the door and downstairs, he went to the kitchen to grab his bag and a sandwich his mother made, "Bye mom gotta go I'm late," he said in a hurry and left the house running, his mother just chuckled and continued drinking her coffee.

Alex slowed down when he saw the time on his phone and just accepted that he's late, "*sigh* Oh well, it's not the 1st."
Alex just walked the rest of his way to his school and just enjoy his sandwich. He completely missed his 1st subject, but this isn't the 1st time so he just walked straight to the guidance office.
"Hey Mr. Philip," Alex greeted while scratching the back of his head.
"Hello Mr. Winter, here's the late slip, one more and you'll be send to detention for the month," Mr. Philip stretch his arm out to give Alex the paper,
"I know Mr. Philip," Alex said while reaching out to the piece of paper, then Mr. Philip pulled his arm back, "I'll let this slide for now, you're so lucky you're one of the best students on this school despite always being late, so get out of here and tell your teacher I called you to help search for some file,"
"Thank you Mr. Philip," Alex said while bowing
"Yea yea don't mention it," Mr. Philip said dismissively.
Alex waved Mr. Philip goodbye and started to walk toward his Club room, since there's a 30 minute break after each subject, he wants to check if his friends are around their club room, and as he was walking there, he saw one of his worse nightmares, Erica.
Despite the school name being "Heave's Gate". It has a demon inside of it, yep, Erica is the school's menace, she mostly harasses other students out for fun because of her sadistic nature, she always gets off scoff free because her father is a multi-billionaire, you read that right, "BILLIONAIR" and could easily buy the whole school and tear it down. Despite this fact, Alex doesn't give a sh*t about her, one of the reason why he is avoiding her is because she has a crush on him.
Not that she is bullying him or even torturing him, because she has a crush on him. And since she's always used to getting what she wants, she just thinks that Alex is playing Hard-To-Get.
"Alex, Honey where are you going?" Erica asked him
"..." Alex just continued walking like he didn't heard her, Erica annoyed that Alex ignored her and didn't even spare a glance at her, she then grab and hugged his arm, "Alex c'mon, notice me."
Alex, now annoyed, shook off Erica, and walked towards their club room and slammed the door at her face. The students who watched the scene unfold broke a cold sweat, Alex just ignored Erica, Heaven's Gate University's own Lucifer.
Erica just pouted and walked off thinking he's still playing hard-to-get.

Inside the room.
"Hey Alex," The girl named Kristin Felines greeted him,
"Hey Kristin, where are the others?" Alex asked while scanning the room,
"Elijah went to see the basketball team, Leslie and Joana's in the library, and Charlotte is just wandering out and about" Kristin summarized what the others are doing.

20 minutes later the bell rang signifying the next class, the bell always ring 5 minutes before the actual time and rings again when the break is over, so Alex and Kristin said "See ya later" to each other and went to their respective classes.

1 hour later and it's lunch time, some may feel the time on this school is way to loose and indeed it is, the students are free to choose which classes to take but the finals are still the same subjects and their grading system is based on how much a student attends a subject weekly and their scores on the tests, making it only 4 subjects a day.
Though its useless to attend the same class twice in the same day cuz the teacher would just teach the same topic for the rest of the day, the students could still do that if they wanted too,
And it is due to this fact that a lot of students want to enroll into this school, but the school only accepts 1 thousand students for each grade level respectively and it is 1st come 1st serve and no reservations, though at least 50 students got in each year through bribing some of the staff, as of the case with Erica. And this is no secret because it's so obvious who got in through bribing.
