1 Chapter 1: The Show

In a room with a brown leather couch, brown leather recliners, 70 inch flat screen tv that was hooked on a wall, a glass coffee table with a fruit basket on it, granted counter tops that had a cappuccino and a coffee maker on it were 4 boys. All of the boys ranged between 18-20 years old. On tv was the daily news. One of the news reporters said "Get Out has been climbing the charts with their new hit single Its Out Of Here." The other reporter said "Get Out has been doing fairly well with Gina as their lead singer haven't they?!" The other reporter replied "yes they have with them on the charts it looks like The Hintz have went from number 1 to number none." One of the boys shut off the tv and yelled "can you believe Gina did this to us?!" One of the boys answered "I always knew she was a little sneak!" Another boy said "and look at us we went from being number 1 on the charts to barely even getting on the top twenty, and the fact that our fans are declining is not helping us!" One boy said "alright that's ENOUGH! Moping about losing fans has never helped anyone. Yes what Gina did is terrible and she hurt us, but what's done is done and the only thing we can do now is move foward. Danny, Sam, Rec we are a team. We'll pull through this with or with out Gina! Plus we can't let out fans down we are still famous and have places that want us to come and perform." Sam asked "yeah, but for how long?" Rec said "yeah Bev if we can't get back on top we'll be on one of those where are they now shows!" Bev replied "no we won't because I have a plan." Danny said "ugh not a Bev plan. They always blow up in our faces!" Bev said "hey I'm the one who got us Gina, and look where we are!" Sam replied "yeah look where we are our lead singer has run off with another, and we went from number 1 to like news anchor said number none! Your plans blow up in our face!" Bev said "well this one won't!" A man opened the door to the room, peeked his head in, and said "you guys are on now." Bev said "just trust me and let me do all the talking..." The boys left the room and followed the man back stage to a talk show platform. A woman who was sitting out on the talk show platform in front of a live studio audience said "our next guests are a talented group of boys that everyone loved. Please give a warm welcome to The Hintz!" The crowd cheered as the group went on the talk show platform and sat down on the seats that were placed out there for them. The woman said "welcome Hintz!" The group said "thanks." The woman said "its a pleasure to have you on my show." Sam said "its always a pleasure to be here on your show Kacey." Kacey said "awe look at you I remember when you guys were first coming out together as a band as tweens now look at you your all grown up." Rec said "well this show really sky rocketed our fame. It was performing here that gave us our big break." Kacey said "well I must say you guys look quiet handsome." The audience clapped as the boys said "well thank you." Kacey said "it is however sad that Gina is no longer with you guys, how do you guys feel about that?" Bev said "well Gina was apart of our group she was our friend and its rough to see her with our rival group but that's the decision she made. We just wish she was more loyal to the group then she was to fame and fortune." Kacey replied "oo ouch that's gonna hurt her when she hears that." Sam said "well she was apart of our group. It kind of strings that she's no longer apart of our family but we are going to keep going with or with out her." The audience cheered and Kacey said "ah yes I've noticed you guys are still in it. So everyone is wanting to know where do you guys see The Hintz going now that Gina is gone?" Bev said "well about that the boys and I have decided to hold a singing audition. Anyone who can sing come to Music Music recording studio, we'll see what you have, and if your the right fit you could be the very next lead singer of The Hintz." The crowd cheered and Kacey asked "oo when are these singing auditions?" Bev answered "this Saturday from 11:00am to when ever the last audition is done. This is a one day only audition so be there!" Kacey said "well I'll be sure to invite you guys back on when you get this new mystery singer and that's all the time we have. Thank you for watching you guys have been great." The audience cheered as The Hintz and Kacey left the talk show and went back stage.

The boys went back to their room, and Rec shouted "are you crazy Bev?! What were you thinking?! A singing competition?!" Bev said "I was thinking that we needed a new singer to get back on top." Sam said "yeah and every horrible singer in the country is going to be there singing trash songs! Lets face it this idea sucks!" Bev said "well I don't see any of you coming up with any ideas to get back on the top of the charts!" Danny said "well what's done is done, and there no changing it we might as well just go with it." There was a knock at the door, and the boys said "come in." Kacey walked in while clapping and chuckling. Sam said "its not funny Kacey!" Kacey said "yes it is. You guys are going to see every horrible singer in the country!" Rec said "you see even Kacey thinks its a horrible idea! Why I outta..." Kacey interrupted saying "I never said it was a horrible idea." Danny asked "then why did you come in here laughing like it was?" Kacey answered "just because I think its a funny idea doesn't mean its a horrible one." Bev said "you see not everyone thinks  ideas are bad." Kacey walked over to the couch, sat down, and said "yea its not a bad idea I just wish you didn't say it on my show. A lot of people who just want money are going to want to audition but at least you guys will be interesting and the spotlight will be on you. Who knows maybe you will find a lead singer even better then Gina." Bev said "I sure hope so. Get Out is just becoming so big right now we need a singer that will pull us right back on the top." Kacey said "well this isn't going to be easy. You guys are going to need an intern to help you out with these auditions." Danny said "yeah, but how are we going to get an intern that's not creepy." Kacey said "well you do have me and since I watch out for you I..." A girl that was 18 walked in. She had long dark brown hair up in a ponytail and hazel brown eyes. She wore faded blue jeans, a plain white t-shirt, and had black sneakers on. In her hands she held a clipboard. Sam said "oh no not paparazzi! Security!" Kacey said "that's not paparazzi and boy this is not a cartoon! This is not some lala land where you just yell security and like some magical fairy they pop out of no where and take her away." The girl laughed, and Danny asked "who is she?" Kacey  answered "her name is Dawn and she is your new intern. She will be helping you with these auditions." Dawn said "well Hintz I'm ready to start when ever you are ready for me to." Rec said "no offense but what does she know about music? She looks like some girl you just randomly grabbed off of the street." Dawn said  "I know more then you do in this area because unlike you I don't just watch music auditions I've actaully been there and done that. I've ran a few music auditions so I know that ropes." Everyone accept for Rec, and Dawn said "oo ouch." Bev said "I'm sorry, but Rec she told you." Kacey said "oo the sass I love her!" Danny said "hmm she'll fit right in." Sam said "yeah I'm liking this new intern." Dawn said "I'm only here to help you run this audition. I won't be disrespected by anyone not even my boss. I like respect just like you treat me fairly and we'll get along just fine but be disrespectful and you'll be doing this audition all by yourself." Rec said "oo yes ma'am." Bev said "well there's a first an intern that's also a leader you don't get many of those." Kacey said "I know isn't she just the greatest intern ever?!" Danny said "yeah she's pretty great but lets see if she can back her talk up."
