1 Chapter 1: Awakening

Jane giggled to herself as she took in what would soon be her new bedroom. Although she wasn't meant to be here, she couldn't resist taking a sneak peek on the eve of her wedding. She couldn't believe how lucky she was: a poor orphaned girl, Jane had been adopted by the Lee family and grown up loved and protected by them. Despite being a very ordinary girl- she was plain in name and plain in looks, even worse, she had a tendency towards chubbiness- her step-brother, Nick, whom she'd always worshipped had somehow miraculously fallen in love with her. When he'd proposed on her 17th birthday, she'd been shocked. She'd never dreamt that her feelings would be reciprocated, and had always been steeling herself for the day that he would bring home a girlfriend. To her surprise and delight, he'd gotten down on 1 knee when she was 17 and told her that he'd been waiting his whole life for her to grow up. 12 months later, they were about to be married the next day, on what would be her 18th birthday.

"Darn" Jane muttered to herself as her massive 5-carat engagement ring fell off her finger and rolled into the the large wardrobe. Embarrassingly, it was too small for her ring finger, so she'd always worn it on her little finger, on which it was a little loose. There were tons of bags and clothings scattered all over the floor, waiting to be sorted out, and she couldn't quite see where the ring had gone. Getting down on her hands and knees, she started rummaging though all the stuff on the floor. She must have not wedged the door stop securely as the door suddenly shut itself with a soft creak. Luckily, the builder had made a mistake and installed the glass in the wardrobe doors the wrong way- the side of the glass that let light through and was supposed to be facing the bedroom (thus allowing her a good view of her belongings even when the wardrobe doors were closed) was now facing the inside of the wardrobe, so she had enough light streaming in to see. Conversely, the side that should have kept the inside of the cupboard dark, thus protecting her clothes, was now facing the bedroom, so no one in the bedroom could see into the wardrobe.

Jane was just reaching to push open the wardrobe door when she heard a familiar feminine moan and froze. She must have misheard, there was no way her best friend Jessica would be in her bedroom. Before she could do anything, she heard a man panting harshly and a couple appeared in the room. Fiercely embracing, they were half un-dressed and couldn't get enough of each other: the female had her legs wrapped around the man whilst he supported her ass and was grinding against her. It felt like the world had stopped for Jane. The man and woman in her question were her fiancé, Nick, and best friend, Jessica, the 2 most important people in her life.
