32 THE UNCOVERED TRUTH

As soon as Moy got back with the crowbar he abruptly broke the door knob.

Vanora noticed that the banging on her door got louder and harder and she was starting to worry. The next time she noticed it, the knob was almost falling and damaged and she knew that anytime soon they could already have the door open. It was too late for her to notice it since it was pouring outside, rain and strong winds were loud enough to cover the banging sound.

"No! Stop that!" She cried out hoping to stop them. However, from the outside, all they could hear was a wordless scream behind all the noise from the downpour outside. The more they heard Vanora's inaudible voice, the more they tried their best to open the door as they thought she was desperately needing their help.

It was too late for Vanora to stop them and, the next thing she knew, they had already opened the door and got inside. They even brought a lightweight chair to use and easily carry Vanora downstairs.
