There were moments of silence after everything had been spilt out and made known to Rexana. She was still absorbing the information and didn't know if she could believe it or not. 

However, she also knew that it would be impossible for her parents to make up stories and lie to her. 

Knowing her truth, she couldn't help but think of Daerin too. Should she consider herself not worthy of him more? After also knowing that Daerin had been checking and had even made surprises for her birthday. She knew that Daerin did love her. 

Nevertheless, would he still love her after knowing the real she? Would he still love her if he knew that she was a mermaid and not truly a human and that she was weird and not normal?

"If that's true, tell me what will I do with my life then?" Rexana suddenly felt weak. Thinking about it stressed her out and that suddenly affected her body.
