let the weapon choice you dont choice the weapon?

Nice with one hundred militia exp i have more then enough to level up. go ahead and do it a gold glow appears around me and alot of those around me. my strength gose up by one but i decided to hold on to the free point incase i need to use it again for a quick advantage. next the drill sergeant walks in front of us and says" all right you sorry excuse for a militia since you all passed even with a little help" he looks at me with a look of anger and mabye just a hint of respect " i am assuming you are all ready to do some weapons training over the next three days your going try every and any weapons we have here to see which once choice you at the end of the day you will have to have one range weapon one close quarters and learn how to do hand to hand and for you hopping to through magic around well what the hell do you think your going to do when you run out of mana if you just get killed off by any old goblin with a pointy stick you would be waste so you will be learning to fight to even if you do use your wand or staff as your primary range weapon. with that started some of the hardest dies of my gaming life every morning we would work out till we could barely move then we would train with every other weapon there was from regular short swords and shields to maces to morning stars to nunchucks to bows wands darts and many others. some cool things i learned is while everyone can use a wand to activate the spell in the wand such as magic missile which is a mana type spell only by having your magic awakened in certain areas will it let you cast spells with out wands or staffs wands normally only had one spell that you could fire from it which took time to recharge or could be recharged with soul stones while staffs could hold more depending on the effects cast on it. i learned there was eight types of basic magic which where light,dark,fire,water,life, death,earth,air and most mages specialized in only one of them. i also learned there was only a hand full of basic classes which was Warrior, Rouge, Archer,War Leader, Medic and Mage there was on priest the heal job was done by the medic who would use potions and different bandages to heal he could also learn life magic but that wasnt as common. war leader apparently lead partys of people giving them bost and tactical knowledge on how to do stuff instead of being supper strong himself. i also learned that apparently the gods where banished from this land and no one knows how or why the last thing they taught us in are classes was that all normal classes of five points every level up two would go to a set place every time while three could be placed freely hidden classes which apparently weren't that rare could be broken in to three levels there was basic which just about anyone could find then there was advanced which was alot harder to find and could only be gotten if you where lucky and lastly there was peak classes which where almost impossible to find. there could be many pluses and minus for every class but the one that all hidden classes had was they took more exp to level up a basic hidden class took .25 more exp to level advanced took .50 and peak took double the exp to level up. through out all of this learning about the world and about a bunch of different weapons and training i found my weapon which was a staff. i could use it as a quarterstaff up close and at a distance i could send out the spell's stored in it. the three spells i got with my staff was magic missile which did five damage a recharges at one a minute and could hold thirty of them magic blast which shot of a pure mana wave around me which could knock back any one with in a ten feet radius of me it could recharge at once every three minutes and held three and finally the last spell was magic wall which could make a wall of pure mana in front of me at four feet wide and last thirty seconds and recharged at once a day and held one.
