Lovia is the only daughter of Mercy the poor, widow and a Charcoal seller. Lover is a school dropout. She helps her mother to sell charcoal at the market and sometimes stand at traffic posts to sell the Charcoal. Her friends and class mates mock her anytime they see her selling in the traffic. They call her all sort of names. Unfortunately, she was knocked down by a private car whiles she was selling. The owner of the private car, David Elvis, rushed her to the hospital. They became good friends since then. David who lost his only daughter loves Lovia very much because he claimes Lovia looks like her dead daughter. He treates her like his very own. He took care of her education till she graduated from her nursing school. Lovia who was not respected by the society, the one whom everyone thought she can never make it in life, is now a midwife who dresses in white to work everyday.
