3 Chapter 2 My friend has gone Mad!!

( Present Day)

It's been sixteen years since we became friends but in friendship you don't celebrate

anniversaries to mark special days like people do in relationships. I tell myself not to be hurt about it cause, friends don't need special days like we became friends on this day anniversary . Every day together as friends is celebration.

" Mam it's time for your ad photo shoot "

my manager called me and I got my touch up done and went out for shoot.

" Dahlia look this way for me " the photographer snapped couple more photos of me in my tenth outfit for the fashion magazine and this is how it has been for the last twelve hours of my work day as a supermodel. Now my legs have a throbbing pain from wearing heels for about last ten hours. Right now I would give anything just so I can go home to my lovely lovely bed which is most important to me.

So I turned in the direction according to the lighting on shoot to the angle that photographer wanted .

" Good good " he showed me his thumbs up signal from behind the camera.

After working in fashion industry for about

eight years you know what pose the photographer and designer wanted.

As soon as photographer said " that's a wrap" my manager and bodyguard appointed by my dad came and helped me out of the designer gown and gave me a tracksuit to wear so we can leave fast cause seeing my expressionless face my manager knew that if I didn't get home quickly enough I would be like a cranky and angry toddler.

After coming back from work I changed to my favorite hoodie and shorts I had my light dinner at two o'clock in morning turned my phone to silent and went to sleep.

●○NEXT DAY○●

"Dahlia , .... Dahlia ....Mam ..... mam wake up !! wake up " I was slightly disoriented by sudden shout from Anna ( manager) and Linda ( bodyguard) from outside of my room.

I left my bed and opened up the door still feeling a bit groggy from being woken awake suddenly.

"What happened? " I asked them my voice was bit rough.

"Actually mam..... arrr actually Jackson sir is really about you I don't know why but he called me right now and said that I need to get you on phone with him urgently " Anna replied keeping her head low .

I looked up at watch to see the time and it was 7.30 am still early as I slept only for about 5 hours so that was why kept Anna her head low as she is afraid that I'll get angry at her.

I looked for my phone and saw that I had about 59 missed calls from Jackson and as soon as I was going to call him instead

he called me right away as if he knew that I was awake and had phone in my hand.

I picked up the call, instantly " WHERE ARE YOU? "

"U have no manners left Jack , atleast say something like hi good morning or how are you "

J: "You tell me how are you are you safe huh?"

D: "Of course I am. Why do you sound so tense ."

J: "Are you okay?"

D: "YES!! I am totally fine , why did you called me soo many times all through the night huh? Do you have stalker tendency huh ?"

J: "No I don't have any tendencies. I was just really worried about you so much that I couldn't sleep and constantly called you. "

When he says things like this my heart skips a beat .

J :" hello ,:you there hun ? "

D :" Yeah yes ! so tell me what happened that got you so worried about me ."

J: "You should see news you will now about it let me send you the link. "

J : "You didn't called me yesterday when it was the day we became friends sixteen years ago. "

D:" OMG!! I thought you forgot about that day since it has been so many years of course I remember but I was so busy that couldn't call even my mom and dad so I had no time to call you ."

J: "You tell me about this fashion magazine you're working with I will send you my law so they don't make you work longer than 3 hours. "

D : "OH My lord !! My friend has seriously gone mad . I will call you later Jack I am coming back home in three days we will talk then or if it upset you so much then I will try to call my grumy child like friend."

J: "Bye take care dummy !! "

After hanging up phone I felt light with happiness that he noticed these small things.

I got ready for work with renewed energy that after three days I will meet my best friend Jackson and my family.
