chapter 3: salvatore school

I walk up to the door of the house and lightly knock. A few minutes later a man opens the door and looks at me. "Excuse me sir my name is Cassidy, I met sheriff Donovan and he gave me a ride here." he raised his eyebrows and says "okay, let's go talk in my office. My name is professor Saltzman" I then walk in the building and he looks at me as I walk in and then begins to show me to his office.

I look around the house and it's huge. I see little kids running around and tons of students. As we reach the office I walk in and sit down in the chair by the desk and Professor Saltzman sits in front of me. "Okay, Cassidy right? What brings you to the Salvatore School?" he asks. I tense up, I can't tell him that I heard a whisper telling me to. "Cassidy?" Mr Saltzman asks me. "Oh sorry" as I snap out of my thoughts. "I was wondering around town and I didn't understand what was going on and I saw sheriff Donovan and he took me here".

Alaric looks at me and asks another question "Cassidy are you any type of supernatural creature?" I take a deep breath and give him the short version of my story. "Yes, I am a werewolf/siphoner hybrid and I have been asleep for a long time by a magically induced coma" His eyes widen, siphoners were not well looked upon when I was last awake and hybrids are even worse. He composed himself and then asks. "When and where were you last awake?". "December 30th, 1987 in Portland, Oregon." "Okay there is another question I have to ask. You're part werewolf, who did you kill? and if you are a siphoner, you must be from the gemini coven."

I look up at him "My first kill was when I was 8". I said looking down and not meeting his eyes "I was still learning how to work with my magic and I did a spell and it killed 2 people in the village. that's when my mother decided that it was not safe for me in the world for long periods of time". I said. "I am not part of the gemini coven, no one knows why I am a siphoner and not a witch." I continued. Alaric looks at me with a little suspension and sadness then says "Welcome to the Salvatore School for the supernatural".
