2 Is he a fool?

The secretary was utterly confused by his weird behavior. He has never seen his President being this attentive to a girl before. He even canceled such an important meeting. And now here they are, eavesdropping on her conversation.

Instead of walking over to her, President Mo asked him to stop. He didn't know what to do or say anymore. As he was wondering, both of them heard a voice.

They heard the girl saying how she wants the most beautiful fish in the sea. They heard about the deal with concubines too. And that's it!

Liu Jiang's self-control was long gone as he was rolling out of laughter and holding onto his stomach like it will burst out anytime soon.

He was so busy laughing at the girl that he forgot that the girl was still sitting there. He was brought back from his Lala land to Earth when the girl glared at him coldly and asked "What?"

At that very moment, the poor secretary could swear that he felt chills running down his back. Her aura was somehow similar to President Mo.

But he would never show it on his face or else future Young Mistress Mo will trample him under her shoes. What?? Of course, she is the future madam, President has never once shown interest in any woman. But this time he left everything and ran towards this woman... Ooops, my fault. He ran towards future Young Mistress. So, this is it.

Even if she didn't have a remarkable background, it was okay as long as President is interested in her.

Holding back his laughter, he politely replied "No, Young mistr...Miss... Uhm. My Apologies"

Mo Yuhan walked closer before sitting right beside Tang Li. He glanced at her for a few seconds before averting his gaze.

Breaking the silence, Tang Li asked him "Do we know each other?"

Mo Yuhan sighed "No."

She pursed her lips, a little displeased with his reply.

Before she could say anything, he spoke again "But we can get to know each other. It will be my pleasure, Miss?"

She opened her mouth to say her name but before she could say it, his secretary came to him with the phone in his hand.

A bit frustrated Mo Yuhan asked, "What is it?"

The secretary whispered into his ear "The Yu Industries have decided to pull out all their investments. They say our project is not that unique. Though, Yus don't have any high standards to judge our project. But in such a dire situation, they suddenly pulled out investments. What should we do on such short notice?" He sighed and then continued "Only Ash Corporation is on the same level as Mo empires. Whereas Yu companies are a league beneath it. If other investors come to know about this, it will affect our project's image. At such short notice, we can't even change the outlines and plans. What..."

The poor Secretary shivered in fear on behalf of the directors who had selected the Yus for this project. Since President was overseas, they had to make a simple decision yet they didn't do it right.

He felt a chill down his spine when his president cut off his sentence and said "Since when did Mo Empires depend on such lousy, fickle-minded investors?"

They almost forgot the presence of the beautiful woman beside them. She heard the mention of Yu companies, Ash Corporation, and Mo Empires. But she didn't know what the matter was.

She couldn't help but wonder if they are Mo Yuhan's employees, "Both of you work in Mo Empires?"

If only, she was a little bit interested in magazines, Weibo or news, she would have long known his identity. Sigh... She stayed miles away from such boring things.

Secretary Liu's eyes twitched 'What work Miss... Young Mistress. The beautiful fish sitting beside you is the CEO of Mo Empires. Whereas me, I am his handsome secretary.'

But before he could vocalize his thoughts, he saw his president glaring at him and he understood that look.

'The great president wants to go with the flow to not scare away Young Mistress' he thought before speaking "Yes, Miss."

Tang Li turned to look at Mo Yuhan and asked "What's the deal with Yu Industries and Ash Corporations? Is anything the problem?"

Mo Yuhan was going to change the topic but when he saw the curiosity sparkling in those hazel eyes, he could only give in to her.

He explained the whole situation, skipping the part of him being the CEO. And how this was the climax of the project but its reputation is on the verge of getting destroyed.

Hearing this, Tang Li got the gist of the dire situation they were in. 'This pretty fish didn't mention it but currently either Ash Corporations or a the Huangfu Conglomerate which controls the international marker.

'Either one of them can save the reputation of this project because all other companies currently involved are beneath Yu company's level which is why no other company can save the project from the repercussions.' she thought as her gaze turned serious.

Mo Yuhan pursed his lips and decided to change the topic but before he could say anything, she spoke up "Yu Companies is way beneath Mo Empires. And it involves illegal dealings such as drugs and human trafficking. The Chairman who is the father of the current CEO Yu Yuansi was even sent to jail last year as the result of some loose ends which revealed about some of his dealings"

She sighed and then continued "Yu Yuansi can be a better CEO but he is blinded by the beauty of hot girls which resulted in him being detained in jail for 3 months for attempted rape."

Secretary Liu was dumbstruck with his future Young Mistress' wits as he scrutinized her again as he thought 'Ahh! President can pick up a rare diamond among the stones.'

Mo Yuhan was a bit stunned. After returning from his trip, he had several projects to deal with so this one was handed over to the Directors who carelessly invited a disaster and he had yet to investigate the partnership company, as the deal crashed.

The information she possessed was confidential, knew this girl is not ordinary from the moment he laid his eyes on her. And his intuitions turned out to be true.

His azure eyes flashed 'Just who is she? '

He heard the girl speak "Is your President a fool? You guys prefer Yu Companies over the Ash Corporations. This is bound to happen."

Mo Yuhan's lips twitched.

Secretary Liu: "_" 'Where am I? Who am I? Am I a human?'

Mo Yuhan pursed his lips and said "Mo Empires and Ash Corporations have never worked together, neither they compete with each other nor they interact with each other. Maybe the CEO will not accept the proposal."

A smirk appeared on Tang Li's lips as she thought 'Well, that's a true hottie but I can give it try for you. Rather than that, I believe your President is an intelligent man. And with his IQ, his projects are bound to be a success. It's a win-win situation as I can find a better chance to pounce on you."

With that thought, she seductively licked her lips, to which Mo Yuhan's gaze deepened. Whereas, Secretary Liu was wondering why his future Young Mistress is appearing as if she is going to devour a delicious dish. Little did he know that the dish was none other than his President himself.

Even she was confused as to why she suddenly wanted to hit on this man and covet him. She shrugged it off. Since she couldn't figure it out better forget it.

Tang Li praised herself for being a genius. She could face a great deal while sitting on the sea beach. Isn't she great?

A certain old man would've smacked himself in the face if he knew his cold granddaughter has such a narcissistic side to her.

While Tang Li was praising herself, she did not know that Mo Yuhan is not a person to take initiatives. If she wasn't the one suggesting, he wouldn't have considered it.

Her expression changed slightly as she tried to persuade him "How will you know if you don't give it try? Show them the proposal. As much as I have heard, President Mo is a smart man. Make sure that the proposal is flawless and it will attract their attention of course."

Mo Yuhan pressed his lips, what she said was quite true. Then, he instructed Secretary Liu to work on it.

When the secretary was gone, he looked at the woman beside him. She had no accessories on her, but she looked exquisite. Her thick eyelashes are like a dense forest. Her long black hair sightly swaying like a black serpent, captivating one's heart. Her hazel eyes were like gemstones, rare, and precious. But she looked like she was a little lonely, empty.

Before he realized, he was already speaking, "Are you adapting to staying alone like this? It won't work in the long run."

Tang Li's eyes were wide shaped as she thought 'Can this man read minds? How can he know my current thoughts? '

He ignored her reaction and stared at the horizon in front of him. Since it was evening time, the sky was appearing to meet the earth.

He continued "Staying alone sometimes is okay. But always preferring to be alone is not. The sky and earth are always indifferent and alone. But there comes a moment when they meet each other which we know as horizon! A person should have something in their life which they can look forward to, which will excite them."

Before she could say something, her lips curved up in a small sad smile. No one...No one has ever understood her this much. Even if she would say her thoughts to someone when she was a child, they would console her or ignore the topic. Then, she started thinking maybe she is weird. Over time, she started bottling up her feelings and emotions.
