79 Meeting Cp-0 Agents

After about 3 days at sea, Percy got a phone call on his personal den den mushi.

*peroperopero peroperopero peroperopero*

*katcha* "Hello" he responded.

"Hello? Is this admiral Kurosai? This is Kaimo, acting chief of cp-0" the other person on the line said.

"What happened to Vape? Did he retire already? During this whole sh*tfest?" Percy questioned continuously wondering if Vape was incompetent, or just really sick.

"No, chief Vape stepped down due to unforeseen circumstances" the other person commentated. "I am acting chief in the meantime until a new director is appointed."

"Alright," Percy didn't question any further. He didn't really care either way. In his eyes, the more useless the person was, the better the revolutionaries' standing would be in the world politics scene. "Why did you call me? I need to prepare for the upcoming battles."

"Just a moment of your time" Kaimo said in a pleading tone, he did not want to disturb the admiral, even though he technically outranked him at the moment. After all, admiral Kurosai is one of the ultimate weapons the world government has against the pirates and it wouldn't be wise to anger him over a small matter such as this. "I'm just calling to inform you that you are going to need to make a detour."

"For what?" Percy said as his eyebrows scrunched together. The longer they took, the more time Rosati and Bigmom had to find out about their plan and devise a counter-strategy.

"You need to stop by Abbos Island and pick up a couple of my agents there. They just escaped from Tottoland a little while ago and have vital information for you to consider" Kaimo informed Percy.

"Abbos Island?" Percy looked at his map. It was about 2 days away and would be half a day detour for his ship. "Can't they call me directly? Or is it that secretive?"

"Can't" the acting chief shook his head, "Bigmom has interceptor snails all over that place and will be able to get there before us. We need that information. I would send some of my men, but your closer so..."

There was a long pause before Percy spoke again,

"This better be worth it Kaimo, If not, I don't care if I have to drag your corpse throughout Mary Geoise to send a message to the rest of cp-0 that I won't be f*cked with, you hear me?"

"Y-yes sir" Kaimo's voice rose a couple octaves after hearing Percy's threats. He heard stories about the admiral's legendary outbursts in Mary Geoise before. There was an incident where one of the palace guards thought it would be funny to have a spitting contest with his fellow guardsmen. They were spitting off the Red line and it unfortunately landed on Percy's head.

Naturally, the admiral was furious and he immediately headed straight to Mary Geoise. When he got there, not only did he kill everyone involved, but he killed their superiors as well. He only stopped when chief Vape and several vice directors of cp-0 had to come and promise him that they would make sure this never happened again.

When the world nobles heard about this disturbance, they were of course furious at Percy. They were also scared because he was slaughtering their guards right outside their houses as they were relaxing or away. They demanded that Percy be removed from his admiral position immediately. But, the gorosei rejected the idea claiming that Kurosai is one of the most powerful men in the world and was insulted by the guards of Mary Geoise.

In the end, he was only suspended for 2 weeks without pay and told to go on vacation for 3 months. Kaimo remembered how when Percy returned after the incident how everyone in Mary Geoise gave the admiral a wide berth, hoping not to antagonize the now nicknamed "crazed monster".

"Good" Percy said in satisfaction, "I'll hold you to it" he said as he hung up his line. Percy thought for a second before messaging his navigator that they needed to change course.

It actually took 2 whole days to get to Abbos Island because of weather and this made Percy even more frustrated. He was standing on his deck with Orange on his right staring at the harbor waiting for the recognizable white of cp-0 agents.

"And where the hell are they?!" Orange shouted and asked looking around getting more annoyed. "We've been here for almost 2 hours and not we've yet to seen them. You think they've already left?" Orange asked Percy as she looked at him.

"No" Percy shook his head as his observation haki sensed them, "They were dealing with some issues, and now they are on their way."

"Issues?" Orange wondered, "What issues?"

"Spies" Percy looked beyond his eyesight as he noticed dead pirates with Bigmom tattoos on their bodies. "They should be here soon anyways."

"Finally" Orange whined, "I was getting bored".

"When are you not?" Percy joked as he looked at his lover.

"When we're alone of course" Orange winked.

It was a couple of minutes later that 3 figures in ivory white garments turned the corner and started to casually walk towards the marine warship. They were neither in a hurry, nor taking their time. Percy looked on as the masked men and women approached the ship and boarded without saying a word. Percy didn't say anything back, turned to his helmsman and nodded.

"Set sail!" the officer shouted and the ship started to set into motion once again.

Percy followed the cp-0 agents into the offices and they as well as Orange entered Percy's office at the same time. The admiral motioned them to sit down and he got behind his desk and sat down after standing up for the past 3 hours.

"So" Percy began, "As I told Kaimo, this better be worth my time and energy".

"It is" one of the agents said as he took off his mask. He was wearing a blue eagle mask with a green beak, "my name is Faige, and these are my two companions, Chem and Buzzle Guzzle".

Chem took off her white buddha mask, and Buzzle Guzzle took off his mask that looked like an octopus with 4 beaks.

"Our information is important because we know where Rosati is currently staying at" Faige stated which peaked Percy's interest.

"You mean he's not with Bigmom on Wholecake Island?" he questioned.

"Well, yes at the moment he is" Faige admitted, "but that is only because his child is still too young to be moved. In 4 days, she will be old enough to be transported to a different island where Rosati plans to relocate her."

"I thought admiral Rosati's plan was to spend time with the baby and Bigmom?" Orange wondered.

"We thought that as well" Buzzle Guzzle replied, "but our informants told us that the only reason why Rosati is allowed to stay in Bigmom's territory in the first place is because he can be used as a hostage against the navy."

"You mean like in these situations?" Percy smirked.

"Exactly" Chem said

"So which island is Rosati going to?" Percy asked the most important question.

"It's an island called Komugi" Faige shrugged his shoulders. "Bigmom's second son Katakuri is in charge of that island.

[Katakuri] Percy thought as he recalled Luffy and the second0-in-commands fight in the mirror world.

"Orange, what is Katakuri's bounty right now?" Percy asked

"Hold on" Orange said as she got up and started to sort through all the relevant bounties.

Buzzle Guzzle was curious,

"Why do you need to know? He's only an up an comer. Should be no problem for our esteemed admiral."

"What your tone!" Faige almost shouted looking at his companion. "Apologies admiral, Buzzle Guzzle sometimes forgets his place."

"It seems so" Percy looked straight at the man, "I am not like the other admirals" he began, "I don't take disrespect kindly. Especially from those weaker from me. Do that again and I will rip your tongue or both your arms from your body. Your choice. Am I clear?"

Buzzle Guzzle was silent as he heard the threat. He spoke with many marines before as a world government official. Usually they will give him a modicum of respect, even if they don't want to. Even fleet admiral Sengoku spoke amiably with him in the past. This admiral was different. He did not care about politics whatsoever.

"Am I clear? Or do I have to rip your ears off as well?" Percy said as Buzzle Guzzle didn't respond as he was still shell shocked.

"C-c-c-clear admiral" he finally said

"Good" Percy nodded his head, "when you get stronger than me, than you will gain my respect back Buzzle Guzzle. Until then, don't talk unless spoken to."

Faige watched the interaction between men and wiped away an imaginary drop of sweat from his brow. He heard from Kaimo about Percy's temperament, but this was the first time he experienced it.

"Here it is" Orange said breaking the tension in the room. "Let's see, Katakuri has a bounty of... 400 million belli".

"400 million" Percy rubbed his chin, "neither strong nor weak then. Okay," Percy said as he stood up, "you three get some rest, I need to think of a plan and talk with my assistant some more. When we have a strategy, then we will call you."

"We can help-" Chem started before Faige cut her off,

"No we can't" he stated. "This is a military operation. We are only here on the behest of the world nobles, our involvement will not go beyond our mission parameters. Let's give admiral Kurosai and rear admiral Orange some space to discuss their next course of action."

He started to lead them out when Buzzle Guzzle looked back at the admiral one last time,

"Anything to add?" Percy asked with a deadpan expression.

"No sir" the agent said as he turned back and walked through the door.

"Soy" Percy said under his breadth. He really wanted to rip them a new one, he was still mad that they had to make him wait for what they thought was vital information. To him though, this could have been discovered along the way if they just interrogated the right people. That would have taken time though, time that they didn't really have.

[We'll see if this delay was worth it] Percy grimly thought as his observation haki picked up on the cipher pol agent's conversation in the rooms next door.

[If not, well then, I guess Kaimo won't be chief for long].
