2 Tough Life
He stretched his arms out try to wake himself up. It was a really nice dream. If he could he didn't want to wake up anymore - it would be the best day of his life.
Slowly he sat up - still thinking about his dream, 'I am gonna be that person in my dream.' he made a promise to himself. From this day onwards, all the things he would do shall be only towards his goal - to beacome an astronaut.
Peter have been living on his own for quite some years now - although his relatives are supporting him finanacially, he decided to live alone - he believes that by living alone he can train himself to not be dependent on someone.
His father was a drunkard - although he had a stable work, it was all drained by his drinking, gambling and other vices. He died of liver cancer when Peter was still little. His mother loved his father very much - that is why when his father died, she is always depressed and sometimes she gets angry on Peter for no reason. She comfort herself with liquors and sometimes don't sleep at all. This goes on for about five years until she got involved in a car crush. She was driving home - while drinking when a ten-wheeler truck hit her car. Luckily, it only hit the bumper of her car - although it did not claim her life, it left her with a comatose for quite some years now.
'God, my teacher in Physics would be giving his final exam today.' he suddenly remembered about his exam. Hastily, he got up from bed and into the bathroom.
The house he is living in was given to him by his relatives. Since he had to continue studying, he needed in a location not far away from the school - near the bus stop. His room was not big - it was also not small. There were posters in his walls - most of which are about succesful space missions. Well there us a really big poster - lifesize one - it is the poster of the first astronaut who stepped on the moon. Some other posters are annoncements made by the ASEA.
He also have a mini-library in his room. Some of the books are autobiographies of great human scientists, presidents and other known person in history. He also have a book about Calculus and Differential Equations, Basic Programming and History of Space Flight. Standing upon his book shelf are his trophies and medals - mostly from academic contests he had joined in these few years. Every corner of his room have quotations written on a sticky note. These are quotations from the greatest men of history.
After taking a bath, he prepared his breakfast - cereals with milk - he did not have time to cook and he cannot skip his breakfast. While eating, he opens his notebook and review his lesson for the exam today. The exam was on the topic about Projectile Motion - like throwing a ball and measuring where it would land. Of course he had already studied for God knows how many times but he still want to review becaise he believed that in life, there should be minimal errors.
He finished his breakfast quickly as he would be late if he dares to daze around. He changed into his school uniform and packed his book and other materials he needed fo the day.
He locked the doors and turned off the appliances in the house. He ran off hastily otherwise he would not catch the bus. He would be late for school if he didn't get on that bus.
