1 A Dream
"Krrrikkhh...kriikh..krukkh" the communication device attached to his spacesuit sounded. This device was made just for this mission. It is used to communicate with HQ Mission Ground Control.
He was still lost in his thoughts when the device sounded again.
"Captain Johannson reporting to Capella Mission Ground Control." he quickly reported. He was still amazed by the fact that the Capella Module has landed on the surface of Capella P9 but he needed to report the situation to the HQ.
"Capella Module have landed on the surface of Capella P9 safe and sound. All stats are good." as he was speaking he look to the person seated besids him - it was his fiance. Then he continued, " All crew members are good." he reported the implrtant things.
Capella P9 is suspected to have things that could sustain life and be inhabitable for humans in the future. As Arcturus 4C is already crowded and polluted, the ASEA (Allied Space Exploration Agency) decided to put all their hopes in finding new and habitable planet to live on. And they put all their hopes on Capella Mission. They are planning to observe the planet's environment, atmosphere, climate and other important factors for life.
After a moment of silence - the device sounded again, "Congratulations to the Capella Module crew and all the people who have become instruments for this successful mission. We, the ASEA have landed a module on the surface of Capella P9." this was followed by cheers of happiness and celebration.
This was a common scene he used to see when he was still a child. He have watched the Moon Landing and the construction of ASEA's Space Laboratory. He enjoyed watching scenes like these. He could never have thought that he would be part of a celebration like this one.
"Captain Johannson reporting, I am now going to go out of the module to check the outside of the module." amidst the celebration - he already unbuckled himself and is getting ready to have a walk outside.
As he was about to leave his seat, he looked at his fiance who was with him the entire flight and jokingly said, " My Lady, let us have an out-of-the-world date." he chuckled.
"Okay then, Mr. Astronaut, let us have a date in your space kingdom." she replied. Warmth arose from the bottom of her heart.
They both enrolled at the Space Training Center together back in Arcturus 4C. They had a promise thay they would roam the planets and the whole Galaxy Chi together.
'They checked their oxygen tanks and other nscessities before opening the entrance of the module together.'
In front of them was a barren land, devoid of life. All they can see are lines of mountains. They can feel the quite low temperature even with their spacesuit on. There were also warm breeze that seem to appear from nowhere.
"Let us first check the outer condition of the module." he said to his fiance. "Before we proceed with our space date." he laughingly added.
He took the lead of going down. He spread his gaze far and wide when suddenly there came a loud bang from the inside of the module. 'There was an explosion.' He turned to look at his fiance but his sight blurred before he could do so. He passed out.
"Rrrrriiiingg...rrriinggg...ringgg", the alarm clock inside the room have been alarming for quite some time now. Peter slowly opened his sleepy eyes then suddenly he came to a realization.
"Fuck! It was all a dream!" he cursed out. He have been dreaming the same dreams for days now.
