Josie Bridge is not your average teenage girl, she's a fifteen year old struggling girl. Abandoned by her father at the age of five, Josie and her mother, Brenda Bridge work together to survive, Josie's mother works two jobs to put food on the table and Josie sells her mother's goods from home. Her father comes back a billionaire with he's twenty year old girlfriend and wants Josie back as his daughter and even comes for her birthday with a brand new car and Josie burns the car and tells him point blank that she wants nothing to do with him But she's not alone and she has a group of friends which are; Jason, Chloe and Zoey (the twins), who stay with her through thick and thin, although she's the least financially, they don't look down on her. She's presently in high school and a straight A student along with her friends, and she's in the eleventh grade. She soon has a crush on Liam, Chloe's friend. Not knowing that Jason, her best friend is in love with her but she friendzones him. It takes her getting rejected by Liam for her to realise Jason's feelings for her and vice-versa
