4 Episode 4: Chance encounter

A week passes no time. In this time Swadeenta got much closer to Sid and Shruti.

It's a beautiful morning again. Sid has come to the college earlier than his usual time, as he had some work. He didn't waste time on unnecessary things and directly went to the class. Today Swadeenta sports a peach colour long skirt and a light peach top for college. She was looking gorgeous. Sanjay sees her and drifts towards her unhurried.

Sanjay : Hi swadhu! How are you? It has been long since we met. How is mom?

Swa: (irritated) Look. I don't want to talk to you. You are nobody to me. I am ashamed of you. So Get lost!

Sanjay: What swadhu? I am your_____

She stopped him before he completes the sentence.

Swa: Shut up! If you want to do anything good for me, just stay away from me. Don't disturb me anymore

She paced away from him after her venting. Sanjay shouted to gain her attention.

Sanjay: Swadhu! Listen to me. (he feels bad)

(Sanjay has no values for good virtues like love, respect, honesty, kindness etc. According to him, anything can be bought with his father's money and his father)

Swadeenta comes to the class angrily. That Sanjay has made her mood worse. She noticed Sid he already in classroom. He was busy writing something. She coughs to get his attention. Sid did not respond. This made her little moody.

Swa: Hello! Can you come to the canteen with me?

Sid: Hi! Good Morning. Sit.

Swa: This is not the answer to my question. Are you coming or not?

Sid: Are you Swadeenta Ramakrishnan? I can't believe that you are talking like this. So bold and bossy.

Swa: Still not the answer I desire. So, you are not coming? Right. If not I will go alone.

Swa: Miss Express. Wait. I am coming.

They leave for canteen together. While on way Sid pry on her moodiness

Sid: May I know why madam is so angry?

Swa: Don't make me angry again.

Sid: Ok. What do you want? I always buy ice cream for Shruti when she is angry. It calms her nerves and makes her smile. Should I order the same thing for you?

Swa: I need coffee

Sid: What? Coffee? You are also hot (she glares at him on this reaction). I mean you are angry. So your temperature is high than usual. In layman's word you are hot. Coffee is also hot. How can it cool down your anger? Think miss express.

Swadeenta fumes on his response and gets up angrily from her chair.

Sid: Oh! sorry, sorry. Chill… I'll get you your coffee.

He comes with two hot mugs of coffee…

Sid: Coffee is so relaxing for tired mind? I need it for my exhaustion.

Swa: Hmm…Actually. I am sorry too. Someone spoiled my mood in early morning. I am not myself since then.

Sid looks at her for observation. She stares back in provocation.

Sid: No. I won't ask you who this someone is. So don't look at me like that.

Swadeenta smiles silently having a sip of coffee. Sid is mesmerized by her smiling look. He dazed while looking at her. His eyes fixed on her face. Swadeenta caught him staring at her.

Swa: What?

Sid: Nothing. You look beautiful when you smile. Keep smiling, always.

She smiles again. They return to class after finishing their beverages.

Shruti: Where have you been guys? I have been waiting for you for so long.

Sid: Don't ask me anything. Ask her ( he points Swadeenta).

Swa: Actually we went to the canteen dear.

Shruti: What? Canteen? It is still so early Morning. Why did you not wait for me?

Sid: Miss foodie. Don't get tensed.I will take toy there during break.

Shruti makes pout face.

Swa: (to Sid)Why are you teasing her man? Come to me darling. (She hugs Shruti. But could not control her laugh while doing so.)

Both of them laugh at Shruti. She glares at them in anger.

Soon it was time to break for home. Swadeenta had gone home earlier today. Sid and Shruti wanted to take some books from library. But they still has not received their ID cards. They were in a bad situation, a dillema.

Shruti: Sid! We need ID cards to borrow books. But we don't have that. What do we do now?

Sid: We can see if some senior helps us.

Vicky overhears their conversation.

Vicky: If you need, you can take my ID card.

Shruti: Oh! That's so sweet of you.

Sid: Thank you bro.

Vicky: Btw I am Vignesh Karthik

CSE- final year.

Sid: We are also the same department but first year. I am Siddharth.

Shruti: I am Shruti. And my brother's name is also Karthik, so l will call you Karthi anna(bhai).

Sid: Ah! she never calls him as anna.

They laugh at his comeback. Then they proceed to get books using Vicky's ID.

Shruti: Thank u Karthi anna. You are the only senior who is so nice. Last week I saw a khadoos(rude) and some rowdies seniors. That khadoos insulted me.

By then Arnav arrives on this scene. Vicky introduce him to both of them.

Vicky: He is my bes friend, Arnav Singh Raizada.

Shruti widens her eyes in surprise. She thinks how her luck is bad. She has to see this dead face when she was almost on her way back home after a beautiful day.

Sid: Oh. Hi bro.

Shruti: (lowers her voice) Hey. He is the one da.

Sid: (in husky voice) Who?

Shruti: I told you. Remember?

Sid: What have you told me?

Shruti: You tubelight…(She pinches him on his arms)

Sid: Hey! It's hurting. Don't be naughty.

Shruti: Karthi anna! It's late. We have to go now. Bye.

She smiles forcefully at Arnav who was already staring at her angrily. She grabs Sid's hand and pulls him away. She didn't stop for breather and run away with the highest speed possible.

Vicky: Why is she running like this?

Arnav: I am the khadoos she just told you about

Vicky: What? (Vicky starts laughing)

Sid and Shruti stops thier running spree at the parking lot. They both are panting heavily by that time.

Sid: You idiot…Have you gone mad? Why running for our lives?

Shruti: Wait. Let me explain. (she pants) He is that khadoos da. Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada.

Sid: What? You spoke bad about his best friend to vicky bro himself. Huh?

Shruti: Hmm( she bites her nails). I said that he is so sweet. Now he too will become Mr. Khadoos part 2. I have such bad luck.

Shruti: Don't fret. Lets go home before they come here to fetch their bikes. O God! I have to hide hereafter whenever they come. With this they both return back to their homes.
