11 Episode 11: Confession

The episode starts with Arnav and Shruti going home on her scooty.

Arnav:(thinks) How she knows my house? Did she stalked me? I did not even notice that she lives in my area She is so sharp.

Shruti:(to herself) It's very boring. I want some entertainment. Idea. Let me irritate him.

She slows down her scooty. She drives on dead slow speed. A man who was walking overtake them.

Arnav: Please stop.

Shruti: (to herself) It's working. (smiles)

She keeps driving as if she has not heard him.

Arnav: Shruti! I asked you to stop the bike.

Shruti:(pretends to be shocked, Stops her scooty suddenly) What's matter? what happened? My scooter's tyre got punctured or what? (she moves from this side to that side and looks at the tyres. She runs around the bike in a funny way) What happened senior? Did your weight punctured my scooty's tyre?

Arnav folds his hands at looks at her in a serious disgusted with her manner.

Shruti: What? Why are you looking at me like that?

Arnav: Did I tell you that the tyre is punctured?

Shruti :(shooks her head) You asked me to stop suddenly. So I thought that it is punctured.

Arnav: You just leave. I will walk to home

Shruti: Why? I will take you on my scooty.

Arnav: Going on your scooty and walking…Both are same.

Shruti makes a pouty disappointed face.

Shruti: There was heavy traffic. So I was slow.

Arnav looks at the empty road and guestures with his hands.

Arnav: Traffic? Here? Do I look like a fool to you? Or you take me as a blind.

Shruti: (to herself) Of course you are. (to Arnav) The road was croudy just now. Now there is less traffic. Come. I will drop you.

Arnav stares at her without moving an inch.

Shruti: If I leave, there will be nobody to drop you home. What will happen if someone kidnaps you? How wil I answer Karthi Anna then? You are my responsiblity now. Come on. Don't waste anymore time.

After her little responsibility speech, she starts the scooty. Arnav stares at her with his hands on his hips. As if deciding what to do with her.

Shruti: Come. Fast.

He sits on the scooty for the second time. Shruti accelerates the scooty and speeds up this time. She was moving much faster than the average riding speed.

Arnav: You can go slower. Not a problem with me. Don't drive so fast and hit somebody.

Shruti: Mr. Senior. I can drive even faster. I am going on medium speed so that you should not be afraid.

Arnav: (in a teasing tone) Oh. I see.

He smiles slightly on her antics. Shruti catches the sight of his smiling face from the rear view mirror.

Shruti: Did you smile just now?

Arnav: No.

Shruti: (to herself)Don't be mistaken Shruti. He did not smile. He does not even know how to smile. Khadoos.

Arnav:(to himself): Yes I did smile. You were the reason for my smile.

They reached almost to Shruti's house.

Shruti: Can you tell me where your house is? I will drop you there.

Arnav: I will get down here and walk back to home.

Shruti: why? No problem. I said, I will drop you.

Shruti: No. My house is at walkable distance from here. I will leave then. Don't worry Nobody will kidnap me.

Shruti laughs.

Arnav: How do you know that my house is in this area?

Shruti: I have seen you here a few times. So I just assumed. Btw that is my house. Let's havd a coffee at my home.

Arnav: No. I have to go.

Shruti: OK. Oh. I wanted to tell you that I am a good driver. It is just... I mean... I slowed down to irritate you (said in a rush without stopping for a breath).

Arnav:(angrily) What the.

Shruti: Escape. He is back to his khadoos form. And so flees as soon as possible in human way.

SCENE-2

It's night time.

Shruti starts thinking. "Actually Arnav is not so bad. Just short tempered. What else he could do everytime if I end up troubling him? I would have reacted the same way as him if I were him. And today, I made a big mistake and I should apologize to him. He was calm today. But I know, when I confess that I damaged his bike, he will kill me for sure Whatever. I must tell him. It's only fare".

Arnav thinks "She(Shruti) is so funny and cute. She is the same as Varsha. Seems like i have got Varsha back. (realizes something) What nonsense are you spouting Arnav? She is not your Varsha. She means nothing to you. Why are you thinking about her? You want to put her life too at stake? No. You should stop thinking about her. Stay away from her and act rudely to her so that she stays away from you always"

SCENE-3

It's Saturday morning. Sid goes to market to get vegetables. Swadeenta also comes to the market in purple colour top and black jeans. She is busy picking and buying vegetables. She turns on when she hears a familiar voice.

Sid : Anna! Give me a kilo of brinjal…

Swa: Hi Sid. You are here?

Sid: Hi Swadhu! My mom was so busy. So I came to buy veggies for her.

Swa: Wow! You help your mom. That's nice to hear.

Sid: And you?

Swa: Actually I come here regularly.

Sid: Oh! Homely girl. I didn't knew.

Both of them laugh. Swadhu helps him to buy veggies.

SCENE-4

Shruti's mom Radhika asks her to go and get things from the market. She gets ready in a dark blue chudidhar. She visit the market, made necessary purchases and while returning she sees Arnav in a mechanic shop. She feels guilty. She parks her scooty and gets down at shop's entrance.

Mechanic: It's done. Your bike is fixed as new.

Shruti: How much is the amount? Tell me. I will pay for it.

Arnav turns on hearing her voice.

Arnav: You? Why are you paying?

Shruti: The one who damaged your bike has to pay.

Arnav:(puzzled)What?

Shruti: It's me. I damaged your bike. (to herself) Shruti. Get ready to get a slap. (she closes her eyes).

Arnav: But why?

Shruti: Wbat a miracle? You did not become angry? You did not slap me? Oh God? Is this a dream?

Arnav: Stop this non sense now. Tell me why u did it.

Shruti: By mistake. I thought of damaging Sanjay's bike and by mistake ended up daming yours. Both the bikes looked the same and they were parked adjacent. So i got confused. A heartfelt sorry___

She sees Arnav laughing uncontrollably. Shruti looks at him in surprise.

Shruti: Woah! You do know how to laugh? I didn't know that you can laugh so beautifully. Anyway, It feels good when u laugh.

Arnav stops laughing. He drifts to her aside…

Arnav: (holds her arm tightly And says angrily) Why did you do that?

Shruti:(tries to get rid of his hold) Actually, I don't like him.

Arnav: Whaf were you thinking? What do you take yourself as? Are you some fighter or what? Oh maybe you think you are big hot shot.

Shruti: Stop. Yes. I am not Jhansi ki Rani. I just wanted to trouble him. Nothing else. That day I hit your bike, that is because of him only. Imagine what if he hit me. Three of us might have injured. And that day u shouted at me before even listening to me first. That is also because of him. His attitude during freshers party___

Before she could finish Arnav pushes her and pins her to the wall.

Arnav:(angrily)If you repeat it again, that is if you try to trouble him again, I will kill u. literally and I am not joking. This is the first and the last warning for You. Get lost.

Shruti: I just wanted_____

Arnav:(shouts)Get lost.

Shruti's eyes pooled into tears. Arnav feels bad on seeing her cry.

Arnav: Shruti!

She runs away before he can say anything to her or apologise...
