BETHANY

Bethany continued talking and flirting with mason, even when she could see that he's clearly not interested and have decided to ignore her despite her best efforts.

She just couldn't understand what the problem was; she is gorgeous, privileged and popular but she still couldn't snag the attention of this stuck up geek.

Ok... He is a really handsome geek but that doesn't give him the right to be such an arrogant prick all the time; he is so full of himself but somehow, that makes me want him even more and I'm going to get him at any cost.

By now we're starting to attract quit a lot of attention which I knew from experience he doesn't like; but if he's going continue ignoring her and denting her reputation in the process, then maybe annoying him is not a bad idea.

I guess he doesn't realize that by ignoring her, he's giving her more ammunition to go after him, even if its now more about saving her pride than anything else.

He's got everything going for him; looks, calm, nice build and smarts; he's every girl's dream boyfriend and I'm determined to be the girl that melt his cold heart and corrupt that saint like persona he always carry about him.

It'd crossed my mind that maybe he is gay but I quickly dismiss the idea because even though its fliting and almost difficult to see when you're not watching closely; I've caught that lustful look in his eyes a time or two, so I know he's definitely straight.

A few of his friends and mine have joined us now and the party is getting heavier by the minute. I should be enjoying myself and lapping up all the attention I'm attracting from other other guys, but his unexpected prescence is dulling my party vibes. And his total lack of interest is doing a number on my ego and it really irks.

"Hey Betty, how is it going doll?" I turned around and looked straight into the smirking face of that annoying thwart, Henry; the arrogant bastard who thinks the world revolves around him, just because he comes from one of the most powerful family in Lake City. He is a Knox and in Lake City, they are the law because their reach is so wide it cannot be measured.

He and I had hooked up a couple of times and while he's actually good for hooking up, I'm not really into his conceited persona. Although, he is not exactly good looking; he is easy on the eyes plus he's got the name and money, so everything is just peachy on his side.

I'm sure people are wondering why Mason is friends with his conceited ass and I don't understand it myself. But I guess it's a guy thing or maybe he is not that detached from the worldly things like he has been pretending to be; after all, hanging out with Henry will give him a very strong connection.

"Hey Henry, I replied attempting to return my attention to mason but he held my hand preventing me from doing so."

" Come on doll don't be rude and stop disturbing my guy, he is not interested but on the other hand........ I've got a lot of game for you. So what do you say, we get out of here and go have some fun?" This got him a lot of hoots, hoos from the drunk idiots around us. I just ignored him instead of responding to his absurd come on and managed to tug my hand free of his hold.

"Oooofs easy feisty! you don't want to.....? Fine, it's your lose doll" he says and that earned him another round of laughter, from his friends and band of fans. He loves the attention and knows how to keep himself in the spot light; we're alike in that area but somehow I dislike him for it.

Jake, Daniel and MarryAnn are Mason's other friends aside from Henry. They all have different attributes but Henry is the most different and most odd. His persona is on a whole different level but for some reason, he is still friends with them.

The girl MarryAnn is another odd ball amongst them too; aside from the fact that she is obviously a girl, she acts and behave like one of the guys. And there even was a time that I was worried that the reason why mason doesn't want me was because he was attracted to her but I quickly dismissed the idea because anyone with eyes could see that he treats her like one of the guys not a romantic interest.

She is beautiful in a cute way, but even with her curves, she's got a gangly figure plus she's got nothing on me; so I don't really see her as a competition. But I admit that, she might be the type of girl mason would want to date and that's probably why he's friends with her.

The party is now pretty heavy, with more grinding like dancing, drinking and maybe a little snotting. It's getting pretty late, and I'd already decided to give mason a break the rest of the night few minutes ago but I still have my eyes on him like a obsessive girlfriend.

I saw when he rose himself from where he was sitting and looks around like he was trying to find someone and that's when I realize that the reason why he was in this party in the first place was probably because his sister draged him with her so she could come to the party.

He had to squeeze himself past some raunchy party kids to try and find his sister in the packed atmosphere and he must have found her before getting to the end of the room; because I noticed he signaled to a direction in the far end of the room and his sister came into view few minutes later.

I can see that she doesn't want to leave just yet but she waved goodbyes at her friends and followed her brother towards the entrance.

They passed by where I was sitting along side his friends and other party goers, he said goodbyes to his friends, all the while acting like she doesn't exist at all.

And It doesn't matter that it was nothing new but my ego always takes a blow everytime he does that, cause I absolutely don't like being ignored.

And since the party had already lost it's lustre for me several hours ago, I decided to head home too.
