5 Chapter 5

The early morning light cast a pearl-like glow across the sleeping town as Jeremy left his room and followed Dylan down Bradford Street. Jeremy darted in and out of alleys and parked cars as they made their way down Commercial street. He moved in closer as Dylan turned down Dyer Street and into the courtyard of the Inn. Relief washed over Jeremy as he watched Dylan open the front door of the Inn without a key. That’s one unknown piece down. Jeremy walked up to the door. He peered through the window and watched the last of Dylan’s legs disappear as he climbed a set of stairs. Jeremy opened the door without making a sound and stepped inside.
