9 Trial of the Fire (Part 4)

Inside a boundless space a certain entity is bound by multiple chains and was struggling continuously to break free.

When suddenly a massive roar from him covered the surroundings and the chains trembled violently and loosening its grip.

"You cannot suppresed me with this puny Qi, whoever you are who is helping this child i will get what i want and nobody can stop me!" The man shouted and an ancient aura coming out from his body intensified.

The moment the voice released those aura was when a certain part of the space contorted and broke by unknown power.

After that a boy flew out of it, while he shoot directly in front of the man who was bounded with chains all over his body.

"I will not allow anyone to dictate what i do with my life!" Mikhael said calmly while looking at the man before him.

A boisterous laughter was released by the man and said "Hahaha..Tough words from an inexperience child, what do you know about life. You don't even have the chance to evolve with this blemished blood of yours if not for my blessings. Come and accept me and you will gain some of my power!"

The chain that holds the man was thoroughly broken as the man itself flashed forward. The aura that he released awhile ago became an endless fire covering him and Mikhael.

"This is just part of my power, if you accept the Fire within me it wil benefit you alot. Just submit and be my slave!"

The pressure and intense heat coming from the fire covering Mikhael started to enter his body but he did not resist and instead tried accepting it.

He closed his eyes and feel this power surging throughout his body and a thought was sent to him.

Vermillion Flame, his blood was connected to the Vermillion Bird which is unknown to this world he is living in.

He had heard multiple legends before from those power of primal beasts who can destroy continents with just its roar. But he never thought he has one inside him as well.

"Yes just like that, be a good child and let me help you refine your body and seal your soul" The man stretch out his left hand and pointed his forefinger on Mikhaels forehead.

However just as he touch Mikhaels forehead he became paralyzed. Unable to move his body, he can only talk with his mouth.

***Buzz***

"THIS IS..." the man was shocked and for the first time fear revealed in his eyes.

"YOU!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

Mikhael had just absorbed every fire that enveloped him awhile ago while also absorbing everything from the Vermillion bird in flesh of a man that looks like him.

When he was absorbing, A green fire came out from his forehead. And it quickly covered the Vermillion Bird.

"I've taken what was originally yours and now it is mine." He said coldly.

"IMPOSSIBLE! HOW CAN THIS BE HAPPENING?" The Vermillion bird screeches and after it saw the green fire unwillingness flashed before its eyes.

"JUST WHO THE HECK ARE YOU!"

That was the last words Mikhael heard from the Vermillion bird before its body where turned to ashes and now just a drop of golden blood floating in fron of him.

"It seems that the Will of the Vermillion bird was totally erased by this green fire.Now i can finally absorb this pure drop of blood."

Mikhael touch the golden blood as it directly sinks from his skin.
