Prophet (2)

According to the time difference that I set for this worldline, although only three years have passed here, it should already have been almost 100 years since I had turned Alden and his race into storytellers.

By then, a lot of celestials should've been born in different worldlines.

'I wonder what new and interesting things they've done, I also wonder what kind of stories will pop up this time.'

I quietly thought as I looked up in the sky.

[The Testament of Stories is awaiting for your permission]

I opened my mouth slowly

"You may open the scenarios."

Eve was currently happily buying egg rolls from a street vendor. The smile on her face could not be hidden at all.

'I passed the interview!'

She happily thought. She looked at the book that was in her purse, it was the book which Ivaim gave.

'Seriously, that kid's book has some goodluck attached to it.'

She smiled lightly and thought sincerely.

'I should buy some cake so we can celebrate when I get home..'

She was about to put an egg roll on her mouth when the ground suddenly shook. Screams could be heard from the sudden earthquake as she tried to balance herself.

The shaking finally stopped, and a high yet metallic sounding voice sounded in the air. Eve's eyes shook in confusion.

"Ahem, attention everyone! The first scenario is about to begin, please prepare yourself."

"I repeat, the first scenario is about to begin, please prepare yourself."

In the morning sky, numerous stars suddenly started appearing out of nowhere.

Up on the ground, a small little doll could be seen floating. Confusion and whispers could be heard among the crowds. They all pointed at the floating odd looking doll with a blue dress.

Eve was about to make a phonecall to Ivaim and ask if he was alright due to the sudden earthquake. However, her head ached as words suddenly started flashing inside Eve's mind.

'They had tiny bodies which couldn't contain the evil inside them.'

'Doll looking creatures whom thirsted for stories.'

'They were creatures which were born to manage and organize the Scenarios.'

She grabbed her head in pain. as she stumbled down on her knees a bit. The egg rolls in her hand fell to the ground, but she didn't notice it and focused on the aching pain in her head.

'They had too many morals to be called a devil.'

'And too mischievous to be called an angel.'

'Hence they were called..'

Eve's eyes flashed as she looked up into the sky where the doll was floating. She hesitantly thought of something that shook her, and slowly mumbled.

"Storytellers..."
