The bus started to move.

Zhou Feng fidgeted in his seat as he sat next to the man. Wondering if he should speak first, his line of sight shifted from his hands to the man on his right and he fell into another daze when he saw the morning sunlight shine upon his silky black hair and long lashes.

"Are you a student at High School A?" The man gazed into Zhou Feng's dark eyes and asked.

"W-Wha-Yes!" Zhou Feng was caught by surprise when the beautiful man spoke to him first and he stammered to reply properly.

Li Yong let out a soft chuckle at his lover's flustering.

"H-How'd you k-know?" Zhou Feng was sure that he had never met this man before today's encounter since he would definitely not forget a face such as his.

"Your school uniform." Li Yong pointed at the school emblem on Zhou Feng's chest, then he pointed to himself, "I'm your new school doctor." 

"O-Oh! It's nice to m-meet you... uh..."

"Dr. Li would do."

"Dr. Li! My name is Zhou Feng!" Zhou Feng was like a child who had just been given candy, face beaming and smiling brightly.

/If I didn't already know of his circumstances at home, I would've never thought that this bright child was tortured by his parent's beatings every day./

Li Yong sighed in his mind.

/I need to find a way to get him to open his heart to me./

Li Yong clenched his fists in anger when he remembered that the soul residing in Zhou Feng's body was his lover's and that his lover was being beaten every day.

"Are you okay?" Zhou Feng finally managed to speak without stammering but he then saw the flames of fury appearing in the depts of Li Yong's eyes.

/Just who made him so angry? Is it me?!?/

"D-Did I do s-something?!?" Zhou Feng was scared. He didn't want Dr. Li to be mad at him. He would definitely break down if the man in front of him said that he hates him. Zhou Feng had never felt such an intense feeling of panic, not even when his parents started using the metal bat to beat him.

Li Yong saw that his lover's face was pale, eyes evident of fear and panic, even a hand had reached out to grab the corner of his shirt cautiously.

"P-Please don't h-hate me..." Zhou Feng said glumly with his head down. He didn't dare raise his head to face the man in fear that the man would look at him the same way his parents do every day. He would not be able to take it if the man viewed him in disgust and scorned him. 

There was a long silence between the two before Li Yong placed his hand on top of Zhou Feng's head. Caught by surprise from the sudden action, Zhou Feng raised his head in a hurry with widened eyes.

Li Yong rubbed his lover's head in contentment.

/Ahh~ So soft! Just as I thought it would be!/

Zhou Feng was confused but exhilarated since it didn't seem like Dr. Li hated him.

Feeling the gentle touch on his head, Zhou Feng closed his eyes to enjoy the feeling and even moved his head towards the hand and rubbed against it.

/Ahhhh~ he's so cute! Like a puppy!!/

Li Yong was squealing internally as he patted Zhou Feng's head some more.

*NEXT STOP; XX STREET*

The two were dragged back to reality and realized that this was their stop.

"Let's get off." Li Yong got off his seat and went out the bus.

Li Yong glanced back slightly and saw that Zhou Feng had followed him off the bus like a little puppy following his master.

/I can almost see that wagging tail and perked up ears~/

Without knowing, they had already arrived at the school. Hesitant to part, Li Yong invited Zhou Feng to have lunch with him later on.

"Where should I meet you?"

"You can find me in the nurse's office, if I'm not there then I'll leave a note."

"Okay!" Zhou Feng scurried off to class just as the late bell rang.

"See you later!" He waved back as he ran to class.

"Alright! Be careful!" Li Yong warned when he saw him trip slightly.

Li Yong walked to the front desk of the school and showed them his ID before being allowed to walk in freely.

Li Yong sank into his thoughts as he contemplated on the ways he could make his hubby open up to him. Without knowing, he turned the corner to bump into the female lead of this world, Yue Mei.

"Nh!" Yue Mei fell down after bumping into what seemed like a warm but sturdy wall. When she looked up, she saw a beautiful man whose looks could topple empires. In a trance, she gazed into his deep onyx eyes until she heard a cold voice saying, "Can you please get up? You're making a fool out of yourself."

Snapping out of her daze, Yue Mei realized she was still on the ground and all everyone was staring at her like an idiot.

"O-Oh, sorry..." She got up the floor while grabbing the folder she dropped and patted herself off. Yue Mei was a bit confused to why the man in front of her gave her such a chilling cold glare and didn't even bother to help her up. Embarrassed, she quickly walked away from everyone's attention with her head down.

/Pfft- she ran away with her tail tucked in between her legs!/

Li Yong had a straight face as he continued to walk down the hall, attracting bees and butterflies in every direction, while secretly jeering at the female lead's actions.

/Who does she think she is! Hubby's mine! Hmph hmph!/

The system listened to Li Yong's comments on the sidelines and couldn't help but think, /[Maybe my decision of entrusting this task to him was Master's doing... There's no way I would've chosen an idiot like him.]/

*DINGGGGG*

The lunch bell ran and a crowd of students came pouring into the cafeteria.

Li Yong waited for his hubby to open his office doors in patience.

*2 minutes later...*

/System! Track down my hubby!/

[It's only been TWO minutes.]

/Then where is he???/

[...]

The system realized reasoning with him would not only be pointless but it would also lower its IQ. However, 10 minutes have passed yet Zhou Feng still hasn't arrived to the office.

/Can you check his location now?/

[... Yes.]

The system brought up a map of the school and a red dot appeared on the holographic map, indicating Zhou Feng's location.

Li Yong noticed that there were 5 other gray dots around the red one and asked the system what they were.

[The map can help you visualize any area you chose. The red dot is master, the black dot is you, the gray ones represent humans, and the orange ones are animals. There will be a key next to the map everytime you activate it for convenience. You can also zoom in and view the area from above so you can see who is within the area.]

Li Yong thought about zooming in on the area where the red dot was present and a scene appeared in his mind. He felt like he was in a ghost like state, he was able to move around freely but he couldn't see his body or hands; nor could he smell or touch anything, his vision was the only sense functional.

Gathering his thoughts, Li Yong focused on the scene before him.
