Prologue - 00

At night, on top of a Goth City skyscraper.

In the sky above, 7 people were panting and barely managing to stay in the air, and in their eyes the fear was clearly visible towards a young man with black hair, who in weak movements, walked towards a woman, who was huddled in a corner of the terrace. And on her body, wounds were seen in various parts, from her head to the tip of her feet.

Muttered a woman, who had one arm severed.

A bald man with a deep cut on his back said looking at her.

The old man asked, looking at each of the seven.

Everyone bowed their heads and dared not answer.

A baby with brown skin and black eyes was sleeping soundly in Ruby's hands.

It had been about 15 hours since the reapers descended from the clouds and the massacre began.

And Markus said '4' because he had to leave Ruby's father alive after she begged him. It was still her father after all ...

Markus noticed something very strange towards the sky to his left.

A large transparent slit was there, and the shape of it looked like a broken mirror in the middle. And in the middle of the crack, hundreds of people were there, frozen in time.

And deep inside the group of people, there seemed to be a commotion going on.

"Why didn't the reapers kill them?"

Markus was stunned. In the sky, the reapers simply ignored the hundreds of people standing in the air.

But out of the corner of his eye, he saw a bright spot becoming bigger and bigger and coming towards him.

A golden barrier had materialized with Ruby and the baby inside, although it showed cracks in every barrier.

A spear with a completely normal appearance, was rubbing against the big black sword that already showed signs of cracking throughout its body.

Looking at the baby, Markus said the same thing.

He then looked at the spear that had already completely destroyed the body of the sword, only something transparent seemed to prevent the spear from moving towards the baby.

Before the hand covered his whole vision, out of the corner of his small right eye, he saw a gigantic city turned upside down, slowly descending from the sky towards the ground ...
