2 Get The Most Out Of This Story

In this short story, the events taking place came at an unexpected point in the protagonist's life.

The cosmic forces contributed to the creation of a thought in his mind, which came to him like a little butterfly appearing out of nowhere. That thought was a memory. A distant memory of a girl he had met once. His memory came to life, helping him recall his feelings at the time.

As the story progresses, this memory begins to swirl in his mind, running through his subconscious, but as the protagonist hasn't decided yet how he feels about this, the memory is just "flying around" in his head. The thoughts of the girl in question could have resulted in a rekindling of his feelings for her, but did not. Instead, they end-up creating a sentiment of deep appreciation for the experience of him meeting her.

A feeling of pleasant calm overwhelms him, realizing how lucky he was to have met her. Nothing more...but nothing less.
