18 The Sin of Curiosity - Part 4

Asura's eyes still contained shock as he breathed out a heavy sigh, "Xia, eh? As expected."

"Fufu, are you surprised? You didn't expect that the two of us also share a name, did you?", the girl asked.

Asura: "Do you think I expected that? According to logic, you two are twins, so you should have different names to differentiate each other, no?"

Xia giggled coquettishly and looked above, where the starry black energy started thinning out and gradually slowing down. While looking in the distance, she replied, "Although your logic has no flaws, not everything follows logical rules, am I wrong?"

Asura also glanced above himself and felt it was finally time for him to return to reality, "... No."

Xia: "Besides, you are the living example of that."

Asura: "Hee... am I? How come?"

Xia: "What do you mean 'how come'? I wasn't supposed to appear until you two reached a realm above Immortals, yet here I am because of a certain someone... a certain mischievous little Devil."

Asura: "..."

Xia: "You're not going to ask anything?"

Asura shook his head and sighed once again, and then spread his arms open, waiting in a hug-ready postion.

Xia: "Hm... forcing me to make a move... bold, aren't we?"

Asura: "How come this half of you is much more domineering while the other one is mild? Is it the effect of you two being split in half or is it just your personality?"

Xia: "... Unbelievable!"

Asura: "What?"

Xia: "I can't believe there's someone who can blatantly insult another and remain unaffected by anything. You certainly know how to poke a sore spot... Keke."

Despite complaining, black-haired Xia didn't mind getting captured in his hug. She relaxed like a cat and enjoyed every ounce of that feeling.

Xia: "Nnnhhhh... this is bliss!"

Asura glanced at her face that lacked any trace of embarrassment and was amazed. "You really don't resemble yourself in this form!"

Xia: "Why?"

Asura: "The Xia I know would be pretty embarrassed by what you said just now, yet here you are completely unfazed and yet you say I'm the strange one. This is injust--mmph!"

Before he could finish his sentence, Xia forced her own lips on his, taking an initiative as opposed to her usual self. When she felt satisfied, she backed off and winked coquettishly at bamboozled Asura.

Asura couldn't stop himself from speaking in a playful tone, "Damn! That was so sudden, you little... Just you wait! Thou shalt feel Asura's wrath one day!"

Xia: "Oy, no cheating on me with myself!"

Asura: "... ey?! Say what?"

Xia saw his stupefied face and burst out laughing as her body flew around him a few times.

Xia: "Fufu, I guess I forgot to tell you because of how eager I was to taste you... Anyway, the other half of me doesn't know that I'm back so this could be considered cheating on her. Oh, also, don't tell her anything about me yet."

Asura: "Nah, if is only considered cheating if you two were two different people. Both of you are one the same, so that's not how it works."

Xia: "Hmm... I thought you'd just accept it right away. We became a bit more ballsy than in our last life, didn't we, Mr. Wizard?"

Asura smirked, unfazed by the term he was referred to, and did a noble half-bow with one hand bent at elbow and placed at his heart, "Hee... I guess so, ma'am Xia."

Xia: "Hmph. You certainly know your way with words."

The white fox stood by the side and observed all of this taking place. If it could talk, it would surely say: "These two really, REALLY match each other."

The two were too preoccupied with one another to notice a witness to their little act.

Xia looked at a certain place. Her devilish face was richer for one massive grin as she put her index finger and thumb on her chin, like some merchant evaluating the quality of the goods. "How's our little fella feeling, are we ready for war yet?"

Asura scratched his head with uncaring expression and replied, "I don't think so. At least not until now, but you're free to try and help it out if you wish, my lady."

Xia seemed as if she was waiting for such a chance and made an evil smirk as she came right in front of him. Her silence gave Asura a strange feeling, as if she could devour him completely if she wanted. He didn't know why, but that was the feeling he got from her.

The two stared at each other, neither moving at all. After the deadlock lasted for a while, Xia's knee gently pressed against the thing in question, causing Asura to twitch a bit, but overall he remained in place with a teasing look on his face.

This demoness had no restraint at all. Her eyes fell down and then her brows slightly rose, "Oh? Look at that! There's a dragon soaring toward the heavens! My, oh my! This little dragon truly is ferocious, isn't it? So young yet so daring, fufu."

Instead of the expected reply, the only thing she got in response was a light hand-chop that fell on her head.

She pouted and murmured, "Muu... you shouldn't hit a girl for no reason."

Asura naturally heard her, and even if he didn't want to, he would still be able to hear and see anything she did and said, as long as she remained in his Soul World.

Asura: "Does that mean I can hit girls if I have a valid reason?"

Xia immediately replied, without a moment of pause, "Of course! If there's a random woman forcing herself onto you, not only are you allowed to hit her, you can even smack her in the face with your fist! To show mercy to your enemies is to be cruel to oneself."

Asura's brows rose in surprise, as he didn't expect such a detailed answer to a random teasing question. To make everything more intriguing, Xia seemed dead-serious when she said this.

Xia then continued, "You understand? If there's a woman trying to woo you, you can freely hit her to defend yourself. That is a valid reason, in my opinion."

Asura decided to tease her a bit as his mouth formed a faint grin, "What if I don't mind that woman forcing herself onto me? If, for example, I enjoy it?"

Xia looked at him straight in the eyes and her eyes narrowed, as she smirked. "Oh you won't, and if there's a slightest chance you do, at most I'll just have to give you a feel of me. You shan't ever forget that feeling for the rest of your life, so don't worry. I'm here if things get tricky."

Asura: "W... what?"

Xia: "Fufu! There's no man who would want another woman after having a taste of this Goddess, not to mention two of them. Our little wizard wouldn't be a bad child, would he?"

Asura became speechless. He never imagined a woman as uncaring and unrestrained as himself would exist in this world - "Unbelievable!"

Xia suddenly rubbed her hands and lunged at him, transferring all of her body weight onto Asura and causing both of them to fall, which resulted in her ending up on top of him with her knee between his legs and the rest of her body dangerously close to his.

Xia: "This is just a trial period, and it's read-only. If you want the full access, you need to hurry up and kick the ass of the ruler of the Spirit Star. Anyway, here's my deposit."

Her lips fell on Asura's again as they completely let go of themselves and enjoyed each other, but unfortunately they were unable to do anything else, partially due to their age and mostly because this was Soul World and not reality. They would feel nothing.

Asura: "You remember everything, don't you?"

Xia: "Yes, I do."

Asura: "And I can't know yet?"

Xia: "No, you can't."

Asura: "And that means I have to become a God or something in order to be able to learn about that?"

Xia: "Something like that, yes."

Asura: "And you realize how screwed both of us are?"

Xia understood what he meant and turned to look at the black dragon hovering in the space. She stared for a bit and then sighed, "So it seems."

Asura: *sigh*

Xia: *sigh*

*fuuuu~*, a strange sigh came from the side.

The two turned to the direction of the sound and saw an observer looking at them without blinking. A small white fox pretended to be sighing as well, just like them. The two stared at it and it stared at them, when all of them realized that Xia and Asura were stark naked and in a certain suggestive position.

The fox quickly realized this problem and put its head down, covering its own eyes with its front paws.

Xia and Asura looked at each other and then burst laughing from the comical scene unfolding before them.

Xia: "This little girl is interesting. I permit you to keep it."

Asura: "Hehe, yea-- wait. Girl?"

Xia: "Hm? Ah, yes. This fox is a female."

Asura looked at the fox that was checking out this new Xia and then looked at him as her tail started flying around uncontrollably.

He felt a sudden premonition appear in his heart, but quickly suppressed that thought and didn't say anything. He just sighed.

Asura: "It's 'bout to become lively here in a while, ain't it?"

Xia: "Yeah, it will definitely be lively here in a few years."

Asura sighed again. "So it seems..."

He glanced at the fox again and couldn't find it in himself to resit her cuteness, which resulted in him lunging at the fox, trying to catch her. The fox nimbly dodged as he ended up slamming himself face-first on the small planet.

He felt as if his Spiritual Will had a deformation on its forehead from hitting the small planet.

Asura: "The hell?! How heavy is this thing???"

Xia: "Well, it's a planet, what do you expect?"

Asura looked at an egg-sized planet and had a newfound admiration for it. It was really a miniature planet thoroughly, it was even as heavy as a real one, despite its size.

Xia glanced at Dragon Soul again and took a deep breath while thinking, 'If it was as before, he only had a meager chance to succeed, but because of this thing, he already turned that into 100%. I really can't believe he went and become a God as soon as he came in this world. If I told him that he's a real God now, what would he think? What a freak! I should be careful not to spill this by accident..."

She looked at carefree child that was running around in the space of his own Soul World while chasing a white fox and then cuddling with her when he finally caught it. She thought, "What kind of monster did I bring into this? What did I get ourselves into... Ah, foolish me. What sin did I commit?'

The black-haired Xia was very careful not to reveal anything more than necessary, but now she felt a bit afraid of the creature she had brought into this world. Among all the demons she could pick, she chose The Devil himself. Was this luck or misfortune?

Xia thought, 'It seems my sin is the worst one - The Sin of Curiosity... Ai, my poor fate.'
