9 #9 Newlywed's night

While the night was terrible for the other couple, it was blissful for Snow Fox and Eternal Blossom. The festivities after the wedding were grand. Everyone that attended came to present gifts and well wishes to them. Little Fire Fox came out of his hiding after his redness had calmed down.

Crawling on his Father's lap he snuggled up and asked, "Did you lick her face Pappa?", which earned him a sideways glance and a hard rub on the top of his head. His father answered, "It was not a lick, it was a kiss."

Followed by a hearty laugh.

"Did you kiss my first Momma that way too before I was born?," he shyly asked.

A flash of sadness that only lasted a brief moment settled on his Father's face. It didn't go unnoticed by the boy. Clearing his throat and replacing his expression with a loving look he replied, " Yes my son I did. I loved her very much. And I will continue to and also love your second mother very much for the rest of my days. And even if she gives me more children one day, I shall never love you any less."

Climbing tiredly off of his father's lap then cuddling up between his father and second mother he popped out his fluffy little tail to cover himself he drifted off to sleep. It had been such a big day for him. Sweetly Eternal Blossom lifted her shawl from her shoulders and laid it over their adorable pup. She reminisced about the day she was brought to his father and him, to care and feed the little guy, falling in love with him at first sight, and filling the hole in her heart after the loss of her own child. He had helped her heal in a way that no one else possibly could. Warmth like she had never experienced in her whole life flowed from this tiny body that she held close to her, yet it never once burned her.

Coming over to the couple, Snow Owl lifted the child up, softly he spoke to them, as not to awaken the boy, " I will take him to my lodge tonight so that you can consummate you marriage without interruption." Smiling in a cheeky and mischievous way he nodded to his brother and headed to his lodge. His wife then placed some extra pelts upon the floor to make him a place to rest. Looking upon her nephew and then to her husband she spoke, "Husband, I truly hope our own child is as sweet as he is once it arrives. Such a blessing that he was granted life and has survived to grow to how he is now."

With a huff, Snow Owl replied back, "He is sweet and good only when he's asleep! Our child will be much better behaved. I think it is time that I talk with my brother about him learning the ways of the men of our clan and our traditions."

Nodding and rubbing her round belly his wife agreed. She was just days away from her due time of giving birth.

Back in Snow Fox's lodge, he and Eternal Blossom placed the gifts to the side and added timber to the lodge fire to keep it warm throughout the night. Cozy and warm they kissed for hours. Their body's heated up as they touched one another's skin. Stopping mud way to remove their clothing, Eternal Blossom shyly remarked, "Are you not disappointed that you will not be my first?" Hanging her head she awaited his response. After a moment he answered matter of factlly. "Are you in me? You will not be my first either. You know of my first wife and I know of your past, if it was ever an issue would I have kept you by my side after you had weaned my son? You need not worry. I accept you as you are. I will be gentle with you forever. Now please relax and hold me to yourself."

Wrapping his arms around her and assuring her he unravelled her hair and ran his fingers through its silkiness. He then rolled her over to face up to him as he straddled over her body. Ever so gently he caressed her face and moved his hands lovingly down her soft skin. Their bodies heated up once more. She melted beneath his touch. Lost in each other's eyes he led his hands down between her legs to her womanly glory. Attempting to control his urges he spoke softly, " May I have you tonight?" She nodded and bit her lip. "I will be very gentle and allow you to accept me and get used to my size before I continue. Are you ready?" Again she nodded. Finally he entered her and waited for her to respond to continue.

Gasping upon his entrance of her she calmed herself and pulled him down for a kiss then assured him that she was willing to continue. Lost in their heat and longing they made love several times throughout the night, collapsing in exhausted bliss. Cuddling into one another's arms listening to the beating of their hearts in rhythmic synchrony they fell into a beautiful slumber.

The next morning came the pounding at the entrance. Snow Fox grabbed his loincloth abruptly not amused at the interruption of his nuptials, he strode to the hide that concealed the entryway. Not wanting whosoever was to see his brides body he only lifted it slightly to make his way out. Shaking her head Eternal Blossom thought to herself, ' Such shall be the wife's life of a Medicine man.' Thinking back on their night she mused at the thought that she had never been treated so gently and with so much love in her entire life. This was far and beyond how she had been treated by the husband who threw her away. Not realizing that it was he who was outside.
