Note: From here I will do my level best to keep to one language unless needed to move story line along, at which point I will add the transactions and pronunciations at the end of the chapter.

....

As Unatsi Tsu La, Snow fox, made his way through the village searching for his brother, while crashing his sleeping baby. Upon finding him he yelled out, " Unatsi Wahuhi, Snow Owl, I am in need of help. My wife has died and the funerary rituals are starting. But I desperately need of some one to teach me how to feed the baby."

Snow Owl, "Silly brother you need not to be taught yet. You require a wet nurse. My wife's younger sister, Eternal Blossom, has lost her baby in child birth a few day back. Her husband has thrown her away believing that she is cursed. She is grieving as you are. Let me bring her to you to see if your little one can help mend her soul as well as help this child survive."

Snow Owl, " Let me look upon this new nephew of mine before I leave to speak with her." Taking the baby into his hands he is surprised to see him in fox form. Just as he started to lift him closer the child awakened and changed back to human form, glowing, and warm. Snow Owl looks to Snow Fox, " I here by bestow to all of the clan and to Grandfather Great Spirit that this child shall receive the name Atsila Tsi La, Fire Fox. Grandfather Great Spirit if this is aceptable to your ears please send us a sign of your acknowledgement."

As the words rang through the village from the chief a white mist appears. Slowly it takes the form of She Brings Happiness. Glancing at Snow Owl she smiles and turns back to mist. Taking it as the sign requested. Songs of prayer are sung throughout the day and night. Eternal Blossom comes to help take care of the child. Shyly She tugs the sleeve of Snow Fox and asks, "Good Medicine man may I raise him as my own and will you have me to share your lodge until he is grown?" He responds, "I am now without a wife and he without a mother, you may only stay in my lodge if you are willing to formally take on that position. You may take until my grieving rights are over and peace returns to your heart to make your answer known to me and my brother."
