22 22 Morning Glow

As the sun peaked up from the horizon Bo Tsu awakened. Looking over he saw that the lovely woman beside him was not a dream. Slipping his arm ever so slowly from under her, as to not awaken her, he started to regain feeling to it as the numbness wained. Quietly he wrapped his yukata around himself and tied the belt of it tightly. He made mental notes to not roam around undressed with having a child present in the shrine. He would have to get used to this. Going out side he made his way to the shrines well and lifted a couple of pails of water from it. Next he went to the fireplace, added some wood to the hot embers left from the night, and warmed some of the water in a pot. He then carried it to the basin in the bridal chamber room. He washed his face before taking a rag and began to wipe down Jun Luna to clean her body of the lingering sweat of the nights activities. Making sure to take in every curve and valley as he glided the rag over her skin. Her skin glowed in the morning light as he wiped her down. The after glow of their love making was radiant to him.

Lightly her eyelids flickered as she roused from her sleep. Opening her eyes she surveyed the handsome man before her. She thought about how lucky she was. As she began to sit up she saw the bruised mark on Bo Tsu's neckline. She smiled as she felt shy about making it, turning scarlet red. Bo Tsu continued to wash down her body as he helped her sit upright. Suddenly Jun Luna winced as a sharp pain shot down he back. She then remembered that he had marked her as well. Just as fast as it hit her it went away. The area of her back where her neck met her shoulders, roughly where her scruff had been in her fox form, was deeply bitten and bruised. Her mate mark was begining to form below the irritated flesh. Bo Tsu patted it lightly as he washed it clean.

As he finished Jun Luna grabbed the rag from him and began to wash his body for him as well. Her hands and the rag floated over the hard muscles of his body as Bo Tsu held down his manhood as her touch was driving him wild. He was battling wanting to take her again. Mentally he reminded himself to give her some rest after all that they had done overnight, plus the child was due to wake up soon and he did not wish to have her see them in such a state. With taming of his inner beast temporarily he turned to get dressed. Today he would set about to move his things from his fishing shack to the shrine. The only items to remain there would be his fishing and boat repair materials.

Not long later Suisei came out of her room dressed in her small shrine maiden attire. Today was a day for village blessings. She could not wait to see what her mother and Bo Tsu had gotten in all of the wedding gifts from the villagers. Hopping down the hall she went to get her breakfast. She could smell fresh tea steeping, soup brewing and fresh fruit being cut. Today was certainly going to be a good day.

Upon getting to the table she noticed her new Ah'pa was dancing in a funny way humming as he cut fruit. His fox tail was out and swishing happily as he hummed and swayed. Suisei could not help but giggle. 'Funny Ah'pa!' ,she thought. Her mother brought over the tea and the soup while Bo Tsu brought over the fruit and some bread. Next he brought over rice and some honey. The three of them ate their breakfast in a cheerful mood. After breakfast they started to open the gifts and place them before presiding over the shrine duties of the day. Bo Tsu headed towards his fishing shack and asked for a few of the fellow fishermen to help him move his personal belongings. 'How could his life be any better than this?' ,he thought to himself.

But life on the island would not be idealic forever. The Night Bird was watching and plotting. 'Let them enjoy their peace for now.' , Night Bird thought to himself, 'I will have my laughs in due course.' Looking far into the distance he got a grand idea. He would stir some troubles and the hearts of men, baiting them to believe that they needed to expand their territory and with it increase their power over the lands. "Yes this would do." ,he cackeled to himself.
