19 19 Authors Corner

Hello Dear Readers,

As the world has been turned upsidedown by the pandemic of Corona Virus (Covid 19), I'm sure that each and everyone of you are seeking release through lots of reading, movies, manga, comics, music, games, and much more. So when I first heard the name of the virus causing the pandemic my thoughts were not leaning towards Mexican Beer as many had been doing and making meme's about. My mind went right to "Soul Eater". Yep you read that right. My inner dialog was with the characters of Ragnaroc and Corona. To be specific the tiny chibi form of Ragnaroc. Funny huh? Well here is what it was like:

Ragnaroc: "Hey Corona!" Bonks head of Corona. "Did you hear that you are famous world wide?"

Corona: "No, how so?"

Ragnaroc: "You now have your very own virus."

Corona: "Is this because Momma is a witch?"

Ragnaroc: "Could be. Could be."

Corona: "Do you think she would be proud now?"

Ragnaroc: "Don't push your luck kid!"

Corona: "Uuuh" pouts.

I bet you "Soul Eater" fans did the voices mentally. Yes I know its silly, but I am just that way.

First of all I hold this novel dear to me as I had once formulated this as a concept for a writing contest some tine back, but eventually went with another idea. It draws from the fact that I love history, flooffy foxes, Native American, Japanese, and other lore from around the world, and spiritual beliefs of other populations. Second is that I have an art background and large imagination. And Thirdly I wanted to draw from my family background. I am 1/4 Irish and 1/4 Cherrokee on my fathers line and 1/2 German on my mothers line. I love all of the stories that I had been told and gravitated to as a child. Plus I have always loved to create joy for not just myself but for others. I hated being a disappointment in the eyes of others especially my family. It hurt deeply when I was labled. So I became everyones goofball friend just to be accepted. Don't get me wrong I love my family and friends. I once wrote song lyrics for a good friend and they have been pushing me to put it to use for a while and to write more. This is what got me started again. I found my old notes and jumped in feel first.

So I want to know what you the reader would like to see in this novel. So I put together the short survey at the end. Please feel free to leave comments in the block below. Yes I do read each of them everyday. Why? Because I love having readers. It makes me very happy. Motovate me! Let me know how to make your reading experience better. And no, I will not be doing privilage or mass release in this novel yet. I wanna see how this goes first before that happens. I have a few chapters planned but want some opinions first before I go back and edit them. So here goes:

1) How do you like the character build up so far?

2) How is the background formation?

3) What age demographic do my reeders fall into?

4) How do you as the reader feel about explicit or adult themed chapters?

5) How do you feel about graphic content?

6) Do you feel that flash backs or forward skips take away or add to the story line?

7) Do you also read my other story Life of Emerald?
