Four to Protect Her

Itzyana, the daughter of a wealthy business tycoon, kept her school life a secret from her parents. To find out how she was doing, her father hired four bodyguards to protect her and observe her at school. The bodyguards were also supposed to attend school with her and pretend to be students. However, what they didn't know was that Itzyana was being bullied at school, and she had been keeping it a secret from her family. Will she be able to keep this a secret from them until the end? What will happen when the bodyguards discover that the person they are supposed to protect is being bullied? Could Itzyana's reluctance to discuss her school life be the actual reason why her father hired the bodyguards?

Chapter 2

Itzy was about to really walk away when her vision caught her bullies running towards the crowd. She stopped for a moment and turned to the bullies. She saw them push their way through the crowd, shoving people out of their way.

Itzy's heart started racing with fear and adrenaline, but she couldn't look away. She also went there. It's not like she wanted to die; she just wanted to see what her bullies were going to do.

She positioned herself where they would not notice her. Her eyes only followed the three women, and they were Ileen, Jaxie, and Loxley.

Ileen is known to be the most talkative of the group, always ready with a joke or a witty remark. She has a bubbly personality and loves to make others laugh. However, she's also aggressive, impulsive, quick to anger, enjoys picking on others, and is a woman who lacks empathy.

Physically, Ileen has curly blonde hair that falls just below her shoulders and bright green eyes.

Jaxie is the most reserved of the three women. She is manipulative and cunning, enjoys playing mind games with others, and likes to be in control.

Physically, Jaxie has long, straight black hair that she usually wears in a braid; deep brown eyes; and a small, delicate nose. She always wears trendy clothing and accessories.

Loxley is the most adventurous of the group. She loves to try new things and is always up for a challenge. And she's also sarcastic and snarky, likes to make fun of others, and enjoys being the center of attention.

Physically, Loxley has long, wavy brown hair, piercing blue eyes, and is of average height. She has a curvy build and a round face. She often wears bold makeup and statement jewelry.

Itzy gulped as the three approached her bodyguards. Little did they know that these new students were not just ordinary students, but also her bodyguards.

What would her three bullies do if they found out that those handsome men were working under her?

She felt a little proud that she had such handsome and cool bodyguards attending school just to watch after her.

"Are you new students here? Your face doesn't look familiar," Ileen asked with a flirty smile on her lips.

However, the guys didn't answer and just looked away, looking for Itzy in the crowd. Ileen was frustrated by the bodyguards' lack of response. She stepped closer to them and placed a hand on one of their biceps. "What's wrong, big guy?" she purred. "Can't you hear me?"

Ryker gently but firmly removed Ileen's hand from his arm and gave her a stern look. "I'm sorry, miss, but I am here to study, and flirting with you is not part of it."

Jaxie and Loxley snickered behind Ileen's back. Ryker's response made Ileen flush with embarrassment. Even Itzy, who was just listening and watching them, couldn't help but giggle secretly.

Loxley stepped forward and extended her hand in front of Jace. "I'm Loxley; do you need help? I can show you around the school."

Jace looked at her hand for a moment. Everyone who was watching them and even his fellow bodyguards thought that Jace would leave her hand hanging, but to their surprise, Jace reached out and shook hands with her.

"Thanks," he said, letting go of her hand. "But we already have someone to show us around," he continued.

"Oh..." She raised her eyebrows. She thought that Jace would accept her invitation, knowing that they shook hands. "Is that so? That's too bad." Jaxie's disappointment was evident on her face, but she quickly regained her composure. "Well, if you change your mind, you can find me in classroom 106," she said with a sly smile.

Jace nodded politely and looked away, looking for Itzy in the crowd. He didn't want to be rude to the girls, but he also didn't want to give them the wrong idea. He and his fellow bodyguards were there to protect Itzy, not to socialize with the flirts.

As Loxley realized that Jace wasn't interested in her, she turned her attention to Ryker. "What about you, handsome?" she asked, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. "Would you like me to show you around instead?"

Ryker remained stoic, not giving any indication that he was interested in Loxley's advances. "Thank you for the offer, but as Jace said, we already have someone to show us around," he replied, his voice polite but firm.

Jaxie, who had been quiet until now, stepped forward and gave Linus a coy smile. "And what about you, cutie? Would you like to explore the school with me?" She asked, placing a hand on his arm.

Linus, who had been looking around the crowd, was startled when he felt Jaxie's hand on his arm. He quickly removed her hand and took a step back. "I'm sorry, miss, but I am not interested in exploring the school with you," he said, his voice cold and distant.

Laszlo, who had been observing the interaction silently, stepped forward and gave the bullies a warning look. "I suggest you leave us alone and find something else to do," he said, his voice low and menacing.

Ileen, Jaxie, and Loxley looked at Laszlo nervously and embarrassedly, realizing that they had gone too far with their flirting. They felt even more embarrassed when they heard murmurs from the students around them.

The students who had been watching Ileen, Jaxie, and Loxley's failed attempt to flirt with Itzy's bodyguards started to murmur among themselves. Some shook their heads in disapproval, while others snickered at the girls' embarrassment.

"It looks like they struck out," one student said, laughing.

"I can't believe they tried to flirt with the new students," another said. "They're shameless."

Ileen, Jaxie, and Loxley felt their faces grow hot with shame. They had thought that they could use their charms to win over the four, but they had only ended up making fools of themselves in front of the students.

Feeling self-conscious, Ileen cleared her throat and tried to act strong. "I can hear voices. Should I consult a doctor?" she said sarcastically. "What about you, Jax?"

Jaxie turned to Ileen. "I heard some too. Perhaps we should go together."

"What a shame. They just saw handsome people, and they already acted like they were equal with them."

"Just by the looks of the men, it's obvious that they won't waste time with them."

"If I were in their position, I would be ashamed."

While Itzy was just watching them with a smile plastered on her face, she couldn't help but feel joyful because her bullies were rejected by her bodyguards. But of course, no one knows about that, only her.

Suddenly, a voice spoke up from the crowd, which startled everyone. "You girls should be ashamed of yourselves," a student said loudly.

Sure, they can murmur however they want, but no one has the courage to speak up or confront the three. Why? Because they were well-known bullies and feared by their peers.

They have established a reputation for themselves as individuals who are not to be messed with, and many students are reluctant to confront them or report their behavior. This fear of the bullies is understandable, as they are likely to use their power and influence to retaliate against anyone who challenges them.

Ileen, Jaxie, and Loxley looked around, trying to see who had spoken. They saw a tall, petite student with a stern expression on his face.

"You should be showing some respect to the new students," the student continued. "They're not here to be your playthings."

Ileen, Jaxie, and Loxley felt their faces grow even hotter. They knew that the student was right—they had been disrespectful to them, and they deserved to be called out on it. But with their egos and pride, they refused to accept that. Instead, they threw their anger at the student who shouted.

As Jaxie started to make her way towards the stern-looking student, the path in front of her seemed to split. Jaxie's steps quickened as she approached the stern-looking student, her anger simmering just beneath the surface. How dare he talk to them that way? She couldn't believe the audacity of some people. Her eyes narrowed as she got closer, ready to give him a slap on the face that he would never forget for the rest of his life.

The stern-looking boy knew that the three bullies who had been causing problems at their school were always on the lookout for new targets, and he didn't want to become their next victim. However, he couldn't continue watching them flirt with the new student, which is why he felt compelled to say those words.

He seemed to sense Jaxie's approach, so he tried to hide himself secretly, but the path split for him. His expression didn't soften, but Jaxie could see that he was shaking inside. She knew that, even though he was a guy, he was just as vulnerable as anyone else when it came to bullying. When the bullies targeted someone, they didn't discriminate based on gender or any other factor. They were ruthless and relentless, and once they set their sights on someone, that person was in for a tough time.

As Jaxie got closer to the guy, she suddenly raised her hand and delivered a resounding slap that echoed across the crowd. The sound of the impact reverberated through the air, causing some onlookers to wince and others to gasp in surprise. When the guy stumbled back, Jaxie noticed a red scratch on his face, a result of her sharp nails. The crowd fell silent, their eyes fixed on the pair, waiting to see what would happen next.

"How dare you talk to us like that?" Jaxie asked, her eyes widening in anger. "Did we give you permission? Huh? Answer me!"

The man rubbed his cheek before slowly turning to Jaxie. "You didn't."

Ileen crossed her arms while watching the pair from their actual spot. She smirked. "Perhaps he's jealous because we didn't approach him as we approached the new guys," she said, whispering to Loxley.

Jaxie scoffed. "Apologize," she demanded, but the guy didn't do what she said. He remained quiet while looking at the ground. Jaxie gritted her teeth and pulled up the man's hair. "Are you not going to do as you were told, or did you suddenly go deaf after receiving a slap from me? Which one is it?"

Even before the guy could answer, Jace stepped in, grabbing Jaxie's hand. His grasp was strong, which made her lose her grip on the man's hair.

"What do... you think you're doing?" Jaxie asked, turning to Jace. Her eyes widened when she saw him. They just transferred schools, so he doesn't know who Jaxie, Ileen, and Loxley were.

"I think that's enough; you don't have to go to such length," Jace said, and he let go of her hand.

"B-But he talked bad about us!" She exclaimed.

"Excuse me," Loxley stepped in, crossing her arms over her chest. Jaxie and Jace turned to her. "You're crossing the line. Who do you think you are to intervene?"

"And who are you guys to treat your fellow students like this?"

Loxley sniggered. "Us?" She pointed at herself. "Well, I am just Loxley, Loxley Brown, the daughter of a famous governor in the country, Guantacio Brown."

"Who's that?" Jace asked. A question that really left the students speechless.

"For real? He doesn't know Loxley's father?"

"Then I guess he's not that big time."

"That's embarrassing."

"Pfft!" Itzy immediately covered her mouth to suppress her laughter. She doesn't want to be found out anyway.

Loxley looked around, embarrassed. She then looked back at Jace and glared at him. "Don't act like you don't know him. You just wanted to embarrass me, right? That won't work for me."

Jace shook her head innocently. "No. I really don't know him, and I don't have any intention to embarrass you." Jace sighed and turned to the guy who just received a slap from Jaxie. "You can go now," he said, and as the man turned away, he turned to Loxley. "Anyway, let's stop this. Let's go, guys; we still have to find our princess," he said, turning to his companion.

"O-Our princess?" Itzy mumbled to herself; she couldn't believe what she just heard.

Luckily, the three bullies didn't hear that because they were busy feeling ashamed of themselves. This is the first time that someone has embarrassed them, but any of this wouldn't happen if they didn't approach the four. It is still their fault for flirting and hoping that they would get those transfer students with those faces.

Itzy watched the scene with a mix of amusement and irritation. She was glad that her bodyguards had handled the situation professionally, but she couldn't help feeling frustrated that the bullies were still bothering them, and she knew that those three wouldn't stop until they got what they wanted.
